I am about to ask a stupid question.... what do people mean by service times? I see a lot of talk about it but nothing on what it is.

He technically said "it will take a few days longer but well worth it" so hopefully that means in a few days.... but it could mean a few days longer than whatever their initial timeframe was. Hoping for the best!

Since the service time fixes were in the roster update, does that mean we should wait for these rosters to be reworked using the new in-game rosters as a base? or are what was created good to use?

if the former, what type of timeline for converting what you've already done?

Actually this is what ridin just posted in regards to osfm:

"Uggh well good news and bad news.... sonys update did do a few things first it fixed service time issues and it also has some hood head scans of major rookies like alonso, tatis , yikuchi and Jimenez soo the dilemma was release what we have which was probably gonna be this weekend or fix this and do it right.... I am inclined to do it right, if we do it right and import what we have as well as fix some more things that we can it will make this even better for everyone. It wont push it back weeks but will delay ut a bit, no time frame now but will know more this weekend and give you guys an update sunday, this gives us even more time to fix and correct anything we find. Hang in there it’s frustrating i get it, we are as frustrated as all of you but we will get this out when its 100%."


So update Sunday!!!!!!! And we'll see from there !

Not stupid, it's confusing.

There are 187 days in every MLB year. If a player spends 172 days on a Major League roster or on one of the DLs they get credited with 1 season of service time. In the following season after a player accrues 6 years of service time they are a free agent. It's why teams don't call up their top prospects for 2 weeks or so into the season. If they delay his initial call up by 15 days they get an entire extra year of control over the player. The first day of the league year was 3.28.19. So if, for example, the Blue Jays don't promote Vlad Jr. until this Friday 4.12 they'll control his rights through 2025 instead of 2024.

Not letting us export every player I what causes this issue of work

If they add I’m vlad jr face scan guess what ? We would have to
Import 3k players again just for the sake of 1 damm face scan.

I’m thinking as far as this crp goes perhaps letting ridin do all his release

Then a moment on my insanity when vlad gets added ( and Hoppfully others) to import everything from scratch

This just shows that clearly don’t think of franchise guys like us no import players option I’m franchise. Either

It’s becayse of DD and you can bet the face scans were added because of m2o and the way that had to run with no custom roster

I use Rickard with a couple edits. I’ll post the edits when I get home.

Here is what I use for Frazier

Stance: Rickard/two hand swing 1/stride 1/HR2
Adjustments: Hand Offset 66, 50, 50 Hand Rotation 60

Is it true what I’m reading that the roster update they did was not cap? That they were actually face scans ? Which screws my plan of updating every 2 weeks

Come on sds give us a import team options not Have to import 3k players every month

The service time thing obviously wa a update not a patch, they gotta work ok there communcaton too people have lives and wasting their time doing work, poor ridin

Not face scans. They used my Elvis Luciano CAP and Trent Thornton. And unfortunately they used my first way crappier version of Thornton lol

Just looked at Trevor Rosenthal and that’s it!!!!! That’s the face!!! That’s the face I have nightmares about. That’s the face the game gave when it glitched the transfers from 18. Hahahahahaha. I couldn’t figure out for the life of me who it was but apparently it was Trevor rosenthals face scan lol.

So I decided to try and use today's live roster as a base and update it with players from cujo's v5 while I had nothing else to do and I've got the Braves done. I'm not 100% sure if I'll keep going and complete the roster, but I ran into a problem. I have one extra fictional pitcher that I want to delete, but can't figure out how to, and I'm short one position player and don't know how to add him because I tried editing the left over pitcher hoping I could just make him a position player , but no luck.

Yeah these are the pain I’m the *** things

You could move the fake pitcher to free agents for another free agent player that’s a position player the move that position player to another teams roster and swap it with another fake played

Now you can edit The fake player who is now a position player to anyone you like..
