Yes, you should definitely start over

This year's version is about twice as good as last year's.

Thoughts on Franco's performance for the Phils this year? Your ratings look great, just wondering if you think he deserves a boost for the current season so far.

Let me preface this with I'm a total statcast data nerd . . .

Maikel Franco hasn't changed much this year. If anything, he's regressed slightly in his batted ball profile mix. He has, however, hit the ball slightly harder to all fields, particularly to center and the opposite field. That isn't likely to do much for him in the long term.

He has suppressed his groundballs slightly to start the year (everything below the red box), but he hasn't traded them for more good flies or line drives, it's been for equally bad fly balls and pop-ups.

For comparison's sake, you can see what Josh Bell has done, which is hit the ball harder more frequently and more line drives (red), and balls that have a chance to be homers (grey and black). Bell is also pulling the ball 40% of the time in the air versus Franco who only pulls it 27% of the time.

              <a href="https://ibb.co/T0Rkjnz"><img src="https://i.ibb.co/bvLPwyp/franco-and-bell.png" alt="franco-and-bell" border="0"></a><br /><a target='_blank' href='https://statewideinventory.org/bmw-0-60-times'>bmw 4 series 0 60 times</a><br />

One thing as a Braves fan that sticks out to me on the ratings sheet Nick Markakis is only 71 overall coming off a all-star season where he won a gold glove and won the silver slugger award. Meanwhile it says Adam Duvall is a 83 overall when he is the minor leagues.

Duvall has big power and great fielding ratings.

Whereas, Markakis only has nice contact ratings.

The beautiful part about this roster is all these guys edit over 1000 players so you will only need to touch up a few of the guys you might think need it

Guys I can't stress this enough...do not go solely off of overall ratings! The game weighs attributes like power very heavily. Take a guy like Harper, his high attributes are power vs righties and discipline. Overall in the 80s for a allstar but he'll crush right handed pitching, draw walks, and play sub standarded defense.....just like the real Bryce.

Does anyone know how to turn off the slow motion effect when you go to steal a base?

Thanks for the write-up! As a Philadelphia fan, that was an interesting read. I know we're not the greatest team this year, but I've been having a ton of fun watching them. Still haven't been completely sold on Harper so we'll see how that pans out.

How about Urshela with Yanks. He has over 100 ABs and is batting .333

Also, what is the contact rating for a .300 hitter and a .250 hitter? I have never understood the numeric equivalents in the game.
