It seems a tad low on your ratings. Was wondering your thoughts on that or if there was a specific methodology that I'm missing Thanks!
If a pitcher throws the 2-seamer and it is his primary pitch, I used the sinker classification for it; sinkers have more movement

After reading your comment, I had an idea. If Sanchez got more whiffs than groundballs on the sinker, I could understand changing it from a sinker to a 2-seamer, but he actually has gotten about twice as many grounders as whiffs, and his whiff rate is pretty low (6.18 percent), even lower than his 4-seamer (10.25 percent).

The sinker/2-seamer also induces the most grounders out of all of his pitches, so I'd say the sinker classification is more accurate.

      Progress update:
The AL is 2/3 franchise-ready (editing all prospect OVRs, fine-tuning depth charts, updating players). Still shooting for a release this weekend.

          Yes, we do

          Right now, Riley has:
          Contact vs Righties 72
          Contact vs Lefties 72
          Power vs Righties 62
          Power vs Lefties 75
          Vision 41
          Discipline 49
          Batting Clutch 63

Hopefully he can improve his defense, really struggling in LF this season. Seems to be learning on the job since he didn't play much OF in the minors. Wonder if the Braves will move him back to 3B, much more comfortable there.

He played 4 games in LF in his minor league career before being brought up. I think his future is definitely at 3B after this season, where his defense is said to be solid at. Was actually at the Braves game last night.

I used his current production level with a regression modifier applied, since the sample size is small.

Right now, he has a major league ready bat and can hit for power, but his approach at the plate needs some work.

We have him at a 73 OVR right now, 88 potential.

I agree it is a small sample size. I'm obviously biased as a braves fan so I want him to have more power haha. Yea I don't think hes been horrible in the field, but not great either. He's definitely better at 3rd. Do you mind sharing your formula for contact/power? I am wanting to make some edits to the braves for now until your roster comes out.

It has been decided that the roster will be released in two parts. The first release will be this weekend. The AL will be franchise ready with full 90 man roster edits, player ratings updates, adjusted 25 man rosters, CPU-generated lineups and rotations. The NL will be playable, but not franchise-ready.

The second and final release will likely be sometime next week, where both the NL and AL will be franchise-ready. It takes roughly 1.5-3 hours per team to finalize the rosters, make sure lineups and rotations are accurate, adjust ratings for prospects and update ratings for players who deserve them, in addition to rating new players.

So, the finish line is in sight. After both versions are released, slider testing and release will begin.

It will have all of the ratings-ratings will be finalized for the AL, along with minor leaguers.

NL will be fully rated, but won't have final updates, adjustments to minor leaguers, and won't have finalized depth charts, 25 and 40 man rosters.
