I'd assume it's because the in-game engine will provide different results than simming the game with the same roster. This is a sim roster, so it works well when simming, but those sliders are for if you want to play the games yourself, or manage them using the in-game engine.

The sliders you posted, are those the same values for both human and CPU?

For best sim results I had to change his sliders as follows:

            CPU Contact 2

            CPU Power 2

            CPU Timing 2

You still get close games and blowouts but I try to simulate league avg 8 hits/game.

Yes they are, tweak human based on your skill level and results.

How do your rosters sim out to the 5-7 year mark? I know multiple rosters that suffer from the 20+ players per team with overalls above 80 and the bottom dwellers still have 10+ players over 80 by 2023.

I have run simulations with multiple rosters for 20 year intervals and at about year 15 and it evens itself out again to look more like talent distribution from 2019.

Just curious if in your test simulations you see a better distribution of talent at the 5 year mark without crazy amounts of high rated players?

Obviously the draft classes have an impact on this but at about the 5 year mark is when you see the current 18-21 year old A prospects hit their high overall.

If you don't test out that far, that is cool. I was just wanting to see.

I just posted a 40-man, injury-free version of this roster in the vault. Look under my PSN: daonlyjmo37.

40-man rosters aren’t accurate but are based off overalls.

User preference, but I suggest classic pitching and directional hitting

Not sure how fast he is IRL, but I was just spectating a random play now game, Miami @ San Fran, and Steven Duggar just hit an inside the park home run, clocking in at 14.76 seconds around the bases. He's rated at a 74 speed.

BTW, loving the roster and settings. The CPU vs CPU play is generating some awesome varied games with a lot of different plays, such as this one and a double play where Longo tagged a guy running to third and then threw to first for the DP.

I also CPUvCPU'd a Cincy @ Colorado and the game was a HR fest (seriously, like 5-6 home runs in that game at least) that Colorado came back to win 10-8.
