In played games have you tracked avg h/9 for user and cpu? I'm trying to get about 8/game each team on average.

          I've tracked pretty much everything

8.5 h/9 is the league average, 8.97 through 19 games, still fine-tuning or final slider release

Great...with these sliders are you getting this result in played and sim games?

The sliders I have for simmed games work even better, great results, especially ERAs league-wide in franchise

I have run simulations with multiple rosters for 20 year intervals and at about year 15 and it evens itself out again to look more like talent distribution from 2019.

Just curious if in your test simulations you see a better distribution of talent at the 5 year mark without crazy amounts of high rated players?

Obviously the draft classes have an impact on this but at about the 5 year mark is when you see the current 18-21 year old A prospects hit their high overall.

If you don't test out that far, that is cool. I was just wanting to see.
Don't want to be that guy that quotes his own post but I am curious if anyone has any insight on how ratings on the roster look in 5 years. Does it stay close to current or is there an increased number of high rated players where even bottom dwellers have 15 plus players over 80 and at least 1-2 90 overall players? I like to rebuild teams then play them in the future with the team I built and this is my last the show game so I am looking for a roster that ages well.

Tried the sliders last night and fantastic results. I have sworn by Armor's sliders, and they are great for SDS ratings. I was a little hesitant given some of the large adjustments you made. But I am overjoyed to report they are fantastic in played and sim games. The hit variety if off the charts and the stats are very realistic. I was struggling to get realistic stats before trying these sliders with your ratings. I only hope that SDS doesn't mess with gameplay in any future patches. Really good work. Thanks!

CPU vs CPU game for those who are interested

Using Cyclonic's roster and latest slider set, this was the first scheduled game between the Mariners and A's in spring training and was a CPU vs CPU match.

                    Athletics 4, Mariners 3
                    R H E
                    Sea 3 9 1 (L- B. Brennan 0-1)
                    Oak 4 6 1 (W- M. Fiers 1-0)(Sv- B. Treinen 1)

                    2B: Sea, D. Moore (1), R. Healy (1); Oak, M. Canha (1)
                    HR: Sea, M. Smith (1); Oak, S. Piscotty (1), K. Davis (1)

This is the smallest of sample sizes, but what I like so far is there are fewer balls thrown by pitchers and fewer foul balls hit by hitters compared to other slider sets. The number of pitches thrown by each pitcher per inning is very close to what you see in real life baseball. You never want to see 35 or 40 pitches thrown by a pitcher per inning. That's what I've seen with other slider sets.

I'll post more as I get them.

does it have to be HOF hitting and pitching? user preference?

also from an outsider looking in at these rosters, the explanation of ratings is a must in order to understand what work went into these. for an example, seeing that A.Garcia on the Rays has 95 speed seems way off and Villar with speed in the 60s seems way off to me but after reading the post on here really makes me feel better about the roster. i thank you for your work and truly enjoy these over the Full Minors Roster

These re-rated rosters are amazing w/HOF! I was a little hesitant on trying HOF as I've been following your page since last year and I used allstar level only.
I've seen really good fielding animations and plays!! And I hit my first grand slam ever on this game and also avoided being swept in the process.

I saw villars speed rating as well and wondered about it initially. But his steal rating is very high. And he is the second in the league in stolen bases nearly two months into the season. So his ratings are playing correctly. With these ratings, you have to look beyond the ratings themselves to understand the logic behind them. All I can tell you is from my experience with these ratings and now with the slider settings that the game plays fantastically.

Yehman, plays well. You see the distinct difference with offspeed and breaking pitches. A++
