Any update on his name potentially being added via a roster update? I'm still torn on starting my franchise with his default scan with player card/audio or using a cap with the Hope's his audio is added

I think it kind of depends what you mean by “added.” As I’ve played the game more I realize that they do announce Ronald Acuña, Jr’s name when using the default roster or a non-cap of Acuna. The problem is, and I don’t really see this changing, that his name is not in the database to use. In other words, I have a choice: use the ugly default Acuna and hear his name or use one of the much better looking CAPS and only hear #13 or sub. Aquino or Junior. Neither choice makes me very happy.

This upsets me a little less honestly. Considering Gleyber Torres' first name isn't in audio among many others. Vasgersian just says "Torres" no first name

Actually, you're right. At least for me this is not a "I won't play unless..." issue.

I just wish they would allow us a little more latitude with players especially with franchise. For example, how hard would it be to put the name of the players like Glebyer, Acuna, Albies, etc. in the database so we could use CAPS if we like because we don't like the default version or someone makes a better looking one? They already say the name in the default roster (at least they do for Acuna) so why not make it available? Just saying...

Every name, first and last, that is said out loud should be in the list of names.

the audio for SCEA players is stored differently to the CAP audio that is why you won't come up on a CAP list.

if it did then we wouldn't be forced to use SCEA locked uneditable players. the only reason we do is for the audio and stats

So, I guess unless your name is something fairly common it will never be in the regular data base? That sounds arbitrary if they are doing that. I mean there are all kinds of names in the data base, some that I would have never thought of but I guess unless there are more "Acuan's" or "Albies" than just the ones on the Braves team presently, we'll never see them available.
