2 questions for franchise mode users:

1. Any issues with so many "C" level prospects with respect to progression?
2. Anyone else notice that Keuchel always signs for Nats and Kimbrel for the Royals? This is really good as FA signings don't seem to happen with 40 man rosters.

I haven't noticed anything this year, but last year, with a similar roster full of "C" potential guys, I noticed about a fifth of these Cs seem to become Bs, another fifth become Ds, and the rest just kind of stay Cs. The ones who become Ds end up dropping out entirely, the ones who become Bs either become low level players at the MLB level or become solid players at the MLB level (dependent on age and OVR at time of promotion to B prospect).

Not sure if that answers your question. With a roster full of C players, though, I imagine it truly ends up representing the "average" prospect, who could become an MLB regular, but not a terribly good one.

I noticed that last season. I'm going to start my franchise with the 25 man rosters and leave the 40 as-is for the AI teams this year. I'm hoping they move their rosters around more this year.

I know there isn't a planned update so I'm just letting people know in the event they intend to import players into the roster, there are two Erick Aybar's in Free Agency so you can replace one of those if you're needing an import space. Also, Ridin and his crew killed it so much that Free Agency is full of additional minor leaguers and international free agents. I went ahead and added the actual teams for those players if you're interested in making roster moves in your Franchises. I hope it proves helpful. Serious props to Ridin and the rest of the guys.

Personally, I only worry about International Free Agents who are more or less committed to an MLB team. I'll replace them with the oldest lower level guy on the team. Often a RP in A or AA that wouldn't ever appear on a MLB team.

Ridin, Showtyme, Ivanhoe and of course the rest of the crew. Thanks a lot for creating these again this year. To me it’s the best version ever. You also managed to get it done before Kimbrel signed anywhere! Now I just have to find a way to sign him back to MY Red Sox to have any hope of a repeat.
