    Michael Lorenzen speed

Does anyone have any meaningful data on what his speed should be? Sony has him way too slow, but I couldn't find any statcast sprint speeds for him.

28.2 ft/s last year. So, he should be a 73 speed.

I re-rate all of the players in the game for my own enjoyment.

First, I sim 10 seasons and manually record all the statistics and the corresponding rating for every MLB player with 100 PAs in the game. All the other offensive categories are more complicated but speed was pretty easy.

For sprint speed I sort of reverse engineer the ratings. I know Buxton is the fastest player in the sport, so his sprint speed (30.5 ft/s) is 99. Then I took the slowest sprint speed (21.6 ft/s) and made that 0. Using those numbers to anchor each end of the 0-99 scale, it turns out that for every 0.1 ft/s over 21.6 you gain a point in speed in the game.

Jros22 posted a chart awhile back with conversions. His is a little different than yours, but close. With his scale that would be a 76 speed rating.
