Service Time & Options

I've read all I care to about MLB Player Options. Lets just say its not very rewarding.

Just want to see if my opinions jive with Community opinion;

Tom Glavine
Season 1 (1987) - August call-up, roughly 45 days Service Time
Never again returned to Minors

1 option, with 2 remaining?.. or all 3 options remaining, counting as a new add to the 40-man?

Mark Lemke
Season 1 (1988) - September call-up, roughly 30 days ST
Season 2 (1989) - September call-up, roughly 30 days ST

1 option, 2 remaining?.. '88 being a newly add to the 40-man, '89 an option year being on the 40-man roster all season?
