Pitcher Stamina in Franchise

Hey all,

I'm wondering if the issue from years past is still there: in franchise, pitchers will lose stamina but never gain it. I ran sims 2 years ago, and 5-7 years in, all the SP at the big league level were 60s and low 70s stamina--no workhorses at all, and a clear imbalance with the default roster.

Two questions:

1) Is this still an issue?

2) Does anyone have a good model for working around it in franchise if you want to play more than 2-3 years?
