Starting a Roster Project and need some input please

Hey everyone! I wanted to post this here cuz I figured it was a good spot to start. I’m doing a roster project for MLB The Show with some players from the 20’s and before. To round out everyone’s roster (minors included) I wanted to do a personal touch. So if you could comment a name of someone who didn’t quite make it the show (via injury had them derailed) but it personal to you and important to (could be your grandfather, someone you went to high school with heck even yourself) all I need is name and position and like maybe a brief story of what happened! Thanks in advanced and this is big undertaking so I wanna share with you all how your player does overtime too!!! Thanks guys cheers

also, will Jim Thorpe and George Halas make the cut?
