Full Team Exports might be there ?

Just quickly listened to yesterdays MLB The Show 20 Developers Stream and heard some very exciting news !

It appears Full Team (including Rosters) will be Exportable and Importable within Franchise Mode. This will also include the Total Rebranding (Team Names; Locations; Uniforms; Logos; Audios; etc.) items. Also exciting is that all 30 Teams are available for Rebranding.

The BIG questions remain:

1) Can We still transfer a MLB The Show 19 Franchise into MLBTS20 and if so will it too be allowed the same functions described above?
&
2) Will these Exported Teams be able to be Imported directly into a traditional Roster File?

If the 2 items above are in MLB The Show 20 then we Classic Roster Enthusiast are in for a Real Treat !!!

Anxiously awaiting the Developers Stream regarding Custom Leagues and "IF" it is as exciting as things mentioned above then We maybe REALLY are going to be going to "The SHOW" Classics BIG TIME !

Sounded like that guy was stumbling through his words and didn’t want to say you could export the whole teams...

I replayed it several times just to make sure I fully understood what he was stating and he clearly stated it plus actually demonstrated it and pointed to the indivdual players within the roster being part of it !

Yep, he initially said not the roster but quickly said and the roster ..... so perhaps he wasn't accurately stating it ......

I thought someone else I’m another thread this is confirmed only for the logos and uniform designs? If it’s for teams we got a game changer here for classic teams it would hid save hours if boring work. Problem is you can’t import a team into a roster only players so the only way would be in franchise to do it 30 times

Yep, it is still questionable regarding "IF" the entire Roster file including Players will be Export/Import-able.

But since they filled their Minor League Rosters with the work of Ridin's Team (as they said in the stream) --- I would hope that Ridin' got them to Export/Import Full Rosters including Players for them to allow them to use their tremendous work --- His Team that put those masterful Full Minors Rosters out certainly fully understand the amount of work that simple function would save Roster Creators !

WOW! This would be huge, Don! I still have to get my teams to MLB 19. I think now I'll just wait til MLB 20 drops, pick up 19 for peanuts and simply use it as a conduit without actually playing it. Did this with MLB 16.

at the 14:40 mark or so ........ The Guy initially states "Not Rosters" then seems to correct himself by immediately saying "and Rosters" ..... so I guess it's still up in the air on this potential MAJOR Addition !

Yep, this "Hopefully" could really be a Hugh Game Changer ...... Even just the ability to Customize Teams Locations/Mascots and Uniforms is a really Nice Addition. We Shall See !

It won’t be rosters, it will be just import into franchise.. which means it wouldn’t be shareable in the vault. You would still have to
Individually export each player 1 buy 1 90 x 30.

Are we also sure it means players anyway? Because If it does it means we could export. a team in the year 2021 into mlb 20 with age skipped a year and could actually play a REAL roster from 2021 into 2020 next year. Doubt they would alllow this.

They created a look after the first year in franchise in the thread and then loaded it up on the team selection screen in a different franchise. It is only appearance that you change in the editor. It is not rosters. Only what you create in the editor.

Exactly I mean how could you load a team up with different players over the top of a current franchise ? It wound the make sense for stats and would break the game. You could have every team with the same 5 pitchers lol it could be a mess

Don,

OS member Houston found that when starting a new franchise the menu had

Load current roster
Load saved roster
Load MLB The Show 19 roster

That tells me roster transfer is in for 20.

Maybe I am wrong but check 15:40 of the stream from Thursday and oause it when the menu shows.

It clearly says it.
