Re: Full Team Exports might be there ?
Don,
OS member Houston found that when starting a new franchise the menu had
Load current roster
Load saved roster
Load MLB The Show 19 roster
That tells me roster transfer is in for 20.
Maybe I am wrong but check 15:40 of the stream from Thursday and oause it when the menu shows.
It clearly says it.

Please let this be true, this will save hours of exporting and importing.
Now if only there was a import player option for Franchise!Comment

So this indicates that they are now allowing you to Load your desired Roster within the Franchise function while starting a Franchise (rather than having to pre-load it like in MLBTS19) and one of the new options is to "Load a MBBTS19 Roster" into MLBTS20 --- which is Good !
BUT we have to yet see/hear if the old method of turning on the CPU Controlled Roster function and going to the "CPU Roster" section in Franchise Mode allows you to individually Export Players to later individually Import them into a native Roster File. Certainly I would think that capability remains in the game as they would be foolish to remove it.
Biggest Hope is since they indicate the new capability of Loading Roster Files from MLBTS19 directly into Franchise Mode of MLBTS20 they would also provide a function to Save/Create a native Roster File while in Franchise Mode which would become accessible outside of Franchise Mode. OR - They allow the same option when loading the Roster Function !
So what the that Franchise Menu indicates in the Livestream is certainly very encouraging BUT it does not ensure what we are wanting is absolutely there.
THANKS Michael for Pointing that out ....... every little bit of encouragement we can see/hear is very WELCOMED !!!Last edited by doncropper; 02-15-2020, 07:58 PM.Comment

I am 99.99% you can still do the export each player trick to port rosters so you can upload them to the vault.

Let's hope this is true so TheMonkeyMan can upload his roster immediately. Assuming they are still doing rosters.Comment

Re: Full Team Exports might be there ?
You raise a good point. now that we have their rosters. these minor league players might be locked and not editable which means they WON'T be exportable either, maybe they are moving in a different direction that you can export a roster but not a individual player. this could be a major problem when trying to export Vets that turn generic with service time. if they are not in the gameComment

Re: Full Team Exports might be there ?
Once he clicks "Start New" on the screen you are on at 16:18 then it quickly shows the next screen at about 16:20 which shows what we are saying above. It goes awfully quick so you have to be ready to pause it to actually see it.Comment
