Question - is there a way to upload my mlbts 19 franchise to the roster vault?

It appears I will need to do this to fully access the team customization feature. I'd hate to have to toss out my current franchise and start over.

    Thanks for any replies.

You would have to export your players one by one into a roster file first - and that only works if you started with CPU ROSTER CONTROL ON.

Okay thanks - I didn't start with CPU roster control on. Apparently I have to start completely over.

Just finish your current season and then you can rebrand

what?? you can load in 19s rosters this year. then just save it. then it becomes a save in mlb 20 then upload to the vault

yes this year they added in a load rosters from MLB 19.

no need to spend hours upon hours exporting and importing

In another thread someone said you can't fully customize your team including uniforms in a carry over franchise. Relocate but not rebrand completely.

            Guess I'll find out Tuesday.

The only roster I have is my franchise. Are you saying I can load that directly to MLBTS 20? That would be fantastic if I can't do a custom team from my carry over franchise.

So I am not entirely sure what you are asking.

If you carry over your franchise from 19 to 20 which you can do then finish the season, you should be able to rebrand that team then.

But the roster itself, you can not transfer from in franchise in 19 to out of franchise in 20 unless you turned roster control on before you started then you could export players if you wanted.

Again, not sure of what you wanted to know, but I hope this helps.

My preference is to carry over a franchise and at the end of the season rebrand my team. In another thread someone with current access to the game said you can't access all of the functions in this manner. You can only choose new location but not create new logo and uniforms. Therefore I was looking for a work around by saving the roster in my franchise and starting a new franchise with my current franchise roster and then rebranding the team.

I've been playing a lot of games in my current franchise to get to the end of the season by Tuesday but don't want to do that if I'm going to have to toss the current franchise and start over. Thanks for the reply. I'll figure it out on Tuesday.

I am running a test season simulation with a carry over in the year 2025. I should be done by the end of the night. I will let you know if it is an option or not. Carrying over from being in the season. Not from the off-season

I just simmed ahead real quick and confirmed you can rebrand from a carry over. It is available immediately on the first day of the off-season.

It is also only available for user controlled teams.

Thanks. I'll play a few games Sunday and Monday to get where I need to be.

You do have to carry over during the season. If you carry over a franchise from the off-season it did not generate the option.

Also I noticed that if you carry over during a season the schedule doesn't do that weird shift where weekend series become Saturday, Sunday, Monday.
