    Player ratings over 100???

I know in diamond dynasty ratings like power and contact can be over 100 but why did they start allowing in offline and franchise mode??? I've seen JD Martinez and Pete Alonso with over 100 power.

    Whoa...

This is a blessing in disguise if we're able to edit guys to over 100. Let me explain:

Their ratings system actually goes beyond 100...my theory is that it most ratings would actually go to 124. This is just due to how the scale works. It used to be that anybody in triple digits would get truncated at 99...so you could never get the wider differentials between some of the really top players in a category and the rest. This has caused issues in creating historical rosters for, say, years when there were guys that hit .400 when the league BA was only .260.

If they've unlocked the top end then it will actually give us more accurate ratings.

But I'm sure they did it for power because HR numbers are so high in the majors now that you'd have too many guys stuck at 99...in the past these players would perform the same though there were differences in their power ability.

You can still only edit players up to 99. If you try to edit a player with a rating already over 100 (like to adjust from 105 to 104) it will instantly jump down to 99 and going back above 100 isn't possible.
