Re: Why is ohtani not a 2 way player?

They need to let us do 6 man rotations in the game.. quite a few teams do this now. this would help with the Ohtani thing as well. currently the only way to do a 6 man rotation is to babysit the team and send players up and down and manually pick them before the game. this is how the Angels would use Ohtani when he pitches with a 6 man rotation. and he would DH on days where it is not before or after or ON the day he pitches. so 3 out of the 6 days he would DH

That is 27 starts at SP
    and 54 days DH

This is what he SHOULD be at if he was used how he should in real life if on pace to play the entire season. but your 6 man rotations no being in the game screws up the stamina.

unless someone else has another idea if how you would do a 6 man rotation? it really isn't possible to sim it. without babysitting each day in the sim. you have to do it manually.

      Perfect.

Second and third time, not so great. 5 starts in one, 4 in the other or something like that.

So, we switched him back to a SP, but kept him with 99 stamina and 80 durability.

He'll DH 110-120 games, which is good. But he'll start like 30 games too. There's no middle ground, to get him around 10-15 consistently. Either 30 or 5.

The only consistent thing was him appearing in around 120 games as a DH when simming.
Just did a couple sims and got the same thing, which matches up with my Bacon franchise. The two-way mechanic is screwed, and the worst part is there's no way to turn it off. Either he starts and ends up with a 7+ ERA, or he's in the bullpen and never pitches.
