RBU version 20.1 and Custom Player Calculator Available for Download

Greetings, gents. I've just finished updating the RBU and player calculator to try and keep things in line with the new version of the game. Changes are not major since the mini-update I released recently, but I did make quite a few minor fixes (such as the filter buttons not working)...

Also, keep in mind that once you go from the 19 version of the Show to 20, that how the game uses the ratings adjusts slightly. Rosters from last year's versions will not be unusable, but if you're doing new ones this year you'll want to update RBU.

I've included in the .rar file spreadsheets for all career and season ratings going back to 1876. I've posted these before and I may as well just include them with the release.

The custom player calculator has also been updated to use current scales and formulas. Please note that this is NOT intended for use in creating minor league players...the calculator assumes you are inputting major league stats, so if you're trying to enter info for minor leaguers then you'll need to adjust your output down accordingly.

As always, I'm essentially a one-man QC department, and I often miss things. If something doesn't work or you notice a glaring error, post here about it. I apologize in advance for any screw-ups.

You must have Microsoft Excel (desktop version - online version will NOT work) and enable macros to use the full utilities.

Getting an error message when clicking the links - both say the same thing ("Something appears to be missing...the key you provided for file access was invalid...")

Is this just user error on my end? Never downloaded one of your RBUs before.

Could you explain a little what this is..
Is it a outside tool to use ..so as to enter batting ..avg hr’s ect and the MLB ratings will be displayed ?

What does RBU stand for? I have heard of people using your tool before but can you update us with an explanation to those who are new to your work?

RBU (Roster Building Utility) .... can be used to input ratings from previous seasons that are generated by the tool and/or used to input stats to generate ratings ---- Wonderful Tool !

Hey Guys,
I am trying to download from the links, and it is not working for me either.
While it would be awesome to use the RBU utility you have built,
if I could just get a good download link to the massive spreadsheets, (Career and also year by year), I can do "name searches" within excel to get to player ratings on individual players.
I use this ratings system to re-rate and create "classic" players.
I will send my email address to anyone that has downloaded these files so that they can send them straight to me if possible.

For those having trouble with the links, try copying and pasting them into a new browser window. Again, not sure why this is happening...if it's a OS thing or on mediafire's end.

I got them to work...It appears that Safari is the issue. I went to the links in Chrome, and I was able to download to a desktop folder I created, then opened the RAR file with a file explorer to access the 2 excel spread sheets...I am all good now.

This worked for me for the first link, but the second link is still getting the error.
