Creating Fictional Roster?
Is there a base template that has a bunch of "Joe Randoms" for every team? I want to create a fictional roster based on my OOTP universe, but am unsure about the best way to go about doing it.

Re: Creating Fictional Roster?
If you search the roster vault for "Joe Random" you should be able to find a roster to download that consists solely of duplicates of said player. Or if you don't want to re-create the full 3000ish players from scratch, download one of the great complete fictional rosters (such as Bacon's) and just edit whatever amount of players you want to be your own.
Don't even bother using the create-a-player feature, instead just edit the already existing players which you can do an unlimited amount of times. As long as it is not a real SCEA MLB player you are editing everything is editable the same as if you were in create-a-player mode. There is really no use for create-a-player mode EXCEPT for being able to randomize appearance with the quick press of a button, which unfortunately is not available in edit player mode (why not, SCEA?). However while that nifty feature could initially save time by not manually editing appearances yourself, you quickly reach the max number of created players and would then have to start importing/exporting created players between multiple rosters to work around those limits which is a time-consuming process itself.Last edited by rick diesel; 07-31-2020, 07:12 AM.
