    NEED SOME INFORMATION PLEASE

Hi guys. I recently bought a 6TB external hard drive for my PS4.

I'm going to store all my games on it.

My question is for MLBTS 20.

I currently have a bunch of rosters and franchises I started saved on the ps4 hard drive.

If I were to copy ALL the data (rosters/franchises..etc) to a flash drive I have would I be able to DELETE 20 off my hard drive and install it on my external hard drive?

If SO< would I be able to still use 20 and copy my DATA from my flash drive BACK onto my ps4 hard drive and have all the info still available?

like my college franchise I have started??

If anyone has used an external hard drive for their ps4 please help.

thanks for any and all help

Deleting a game does not delete the save information.

You can back it up on a USB drive or on the cloud just in case. Just delete MLB then set your install source to the external storage then reinstall the game.

      Don't delete MLBTS20 from your system ....

      1) Just "Move" it to the External Hard Drive.
      2) Copy your Saved Data files to your USB Flash Drive
      3) (you should backup your USB Flash Drive to perhaps your computer's hard drive and/or an external drive attached to your computer.

I have somewhere around 15 games that have been "Moved" from my console's drive to an External Hard Drive and they all play just fine from there.

You can copy your Saved Data files (i.e. rosters, franchises etc..) back into the same User ID on your system.

      Hope this helps,

Thanks funkycorm. I really appreciate the help.

And since I live in Ohio and you are obviously a buckeye fan. I have to ask what happened to them buckeyes in the tournament?

Don. By move it i assume you mean copy it from the ps4 to the external?

I am going to back up on flash drive my rosters and franchises.

Then I just have to copy them back into the game is this correct?

Yep, there is a function on the PS4 that allows you to either "Copy" or "Move" (not sure which they state) a game to External Storage ...... I think it is in the Settings / Storage area where you can click on the game and then select "Options" (I think) and then it give you that option to send it to External Storage ........ I know what I did was create a folder and have all my games that reside on External Storage in that folder which allows you to see them from the main games screen.

Correct, once you backup Saved Data Files such as roster; franchises etc to a USB then all you have to do is "Copy to System Storage" function to get them back in the game - although - I think the game only displays like 10 or so files and if the one you copied is #11 then you would have to delete one of the ones that is showing up to see that one.
