I watched a player rating video, dude was scrolling pretty fast but from what I could see the rosters actually werent too bad... Im sure A is still fake players.

Maybe first roster update will be pretty solid.

This was the same last year too only A were fake but the defaults were a mess. And we had to wait weeks for a update (yeah I know pandemic happened) but ok just saying don’t expect deceived to look awesome.

Yep Armor i litterally heard Ramone just say "Our Fans Wanted More So You Got It"

Its disgraceful how over the top they are, it sounds so fake and screams new people buy this game. I know they won't be, but they should be truly embarrassed to even show there id here, this forum built the show! 17k speaks though with there wallets.

Its like this in madden, its like this in alot of games, pay to win, pay to get extra items, pay pay pay.

I came up where developers cared about there creativity and in game items were not only included but it was also earned.

I'm so disgusted with what I'm seeing and hearing out of this development team its not even funny.

Truly disappointed.

ACTUALLY ARMOR --- It May have JUST BEGUN ! MLB The Show 20 has a tremendous Quality & Quantity of Historical Rosters ..... Thus, like EA's MVP 2005 on the PC which thrived for > 10-12 years or so via the true Classic Baseball fans, "MLB The Show 20" has Just Begun its Reign of Supremacy for ALL True Classic Baseball fans (IF MLB The Sow 21 lets us down) !!!

It will be 12 to 15 A ball players I would think. So 450 fake A ball players.

I'll definitively give all the scene veterans a good hand of applause. The community has come a long way in the last 5-6 years.

I've worked on Show rosters a couple years, but I've worked on Fire Pro Wrestling edits for 22 years and counting, and that series is ALL community-created content, 100,000 different creations on Steam for the newest game. Don't be afraid to stick to the old game as long as you can until the features you want are back. Create your standards, fill the niches, keep creating until every season has been recreated.

Main problem will be, Sony can turn off the vault when they want. So when the times comes, you'll want to archive the files you want to keep for the future and find a way to still export and import save files without the vault.

I would backport the MLB 21 rosters to MLB 20. I would port entire MLB The Shows from the past, as is, to MLB 20.

In fact if it really is now 93 man rosters. this explains why the import option isn't in. the game MAKES you on MLB 20 have 90 man rosters. so I could imagine MLB 21 MAKES you have 93 players... so I am guessing this might be the big reason as to why you can't import old rosters not compadable . they would have to change the min requirements and all that stuff for it to work I guess they could have created a script if you import a old roster 3 fake players get generated in or something like that.

This is the way it used to be

25 MLB
25 AAA
25 AA
15 A

Then in 20 with new rules it went like this.

26 MLB
26 AAA
26 AA
12 A

So what SDS did was take 3 spots from the normal 15 and and added 1 player to each to make it 26 at

MLB
AAA
AA

So this year there's technically probably not 93. They added 3 back to make single A back to the normal 15.

I dunno how creators are going to create missing vets like Matt Moore too. Because it’s like the ps3 days of being at sds mercy of waiting for a roster update.. can’t just export him from the old games now.. so you could only create. Rookie Matt Moore now with the no stats. Sure you can edit service time but the game treats him as. Rookie with no stats.

So it’s gonna be a lot of sitting waiting for updates and months before accurate rosters are out because of limitations.

And yes sticking to 20

But imagine 22 “new features for Xbox guys y2y saves”
23 “now sounds of the show is a new feature for Xbox
24 of here you go now you can import rosters from previous years

They now can pull the EA way here and have 3 years worth of new features
