Its disgraceful how over the top they are, it sounds so fake and screams new people buy this game. I know they won't be, but they should be truly embarrassed to even show there id here, this forum built the show! 17k speaks though with there wallets.

Its like this in madden, its like this in alot of games, pay to win, pay to get extra items, pay pay pay.

I came up where developers cared about there creativity and in game items were not only included but it was also earned.

I'm so disgusted with what I'm seeing and hearing out of this development team its not even funny.

Truly disappointed.

I have. I have done that since MLB 11. I have every single roster on flash drives and more importantly in my cloud storage via PSN Plus. The annual fee for that alone is worth the price to have cloud storage.

So we have dual control of all our classic rosters. So glad I did this for NBA2K18 (the last 2K I ever will own) (and 2K11 on PS3) because they shut their servers down after a year.

I highly suggest people back up all their rosters so they have them....forever.

Armor I totally agree. I also have flash drives for show 20, 19 & 18 and also Madden 20 & 19.

Looks like we can't have more than 13 man pitching staffs... That's a big blow as many teams are doing 14 man staffs.

I won’t blame the game on that thang rule wax suppose to be in 20 it really screws the Ohtani problem badly too.

what makes you think they can just edit career stats and get his audio into the game from a CAP and just 'do it' day 1? you obviously don't follow OSFM work they always wait for the updates so players get the right audio card. facescan stats etc

Speaking of Ohtani, it's apparently impossible to forfeit the DH in an AL game (in any mode). In fact, I checked the "live rosters" exhibition game for the one game so far where the Angels forfeited the DH and batted him second as the pitcher and the game has Dexter Fowler as the DH in the slot instead.

This is a huge disappointment because Ohtani pitching and hitting is an awesome part of real baseball and the devs aren't going to let us have it. And this isn't even a franchise mode snub, this seems to affect every single mode in the game. This one stings.

I’ve given up on them getting Ohtani right 4 straight years now and they can’t get it right.

So I went to the use 2 Ohtani method and just called the pitcher cap Ohtani up from class A (so he doesn’t get used) every 6 day then just send him back down when starts finished

No, you can put Ohtani in the rotation, and then manually put him in the lineup as a DH on days when it isn't his turn to start.

What you can't do is put Ohtani in the lineup as P if he's the starting pitcher for a game; which didn't really matter before because he was either not pitching 'cause of TJ, or the Angels weren't doing that. But this year Joe Maddon is doing that, but it's impossible in the game.

1. decide where Ohtani's is going to hit (where the pitcher slot will be)
2. pick a player in a different lineup slot and make them DH
3. put a bench player you don't care about burning for this game in the slot that will be come the pitcher's slot, with their position set to the position that your DH from step 2 will end up playing

Then start the game and immediately swap the DH and the sacrificial player's positions. Ohtani (the pitcher's slot) will take the latter's slot before a single pitch is thrown.

And hey, since we aren't allowed to have 14-man pitching staffs even though real teams are, you're likely to have a 13th position player that shouldn't be there anyway to be the sacrifice.

Are you able to put a pitcher in the "dead" lineup spot that will end up being Ohtani? That way you could just "waste" the previous days SP as opposed to a bench player. Not sure if that's possible tho...don't have the game yet preordered the standard edition

We need this game to get a PC release before it’s core is destroyed beyond recognition.

We wish custom uniforms no roster limitations edit schedule just imagine. The base wouldn’t be big enough for DD guys for them

Dumb question: I know rosters and franchise won’t carry over, but if I were to upload every single cap on my roster for 20 into the vault would I be able to download them in 21?

Side question, has any classic roster maker used legend players in franchise mode instead of Caps for that player? And did it cause any problems? I’d only do it if the legend was close to the same age as they’d be for that season.
