I’ve noticed and I think I saw it mentioned somewhere on one of the threads that potentials need to be drastically toned down.
I have only the top 20 prospects as A and then the next 30 at B level. From 50-100 I’ve placed in the C level and all others outside that from the 30 top prospects from each team are in the D Level unless he was a top international signing that hasn’t been rated within the top 100.
That has given me the best results. So not too many guys reaching really high levels. I have noticed that guys that were potential at 78 have reached into the 80s based on how they played and vice versa with a mid 80 potential not quite getting to that level.
I use 75 rated as the average for big league players. It has helped tremendously give the superstar players that fear factor and it truly separates the roster variance. I went and pulled down all other players potentials to be in line with this theory.
