2- Whether or not they did what's the PSN name they will be under when released?

Re: Franchise Fidelity to Reality Roster Project (Official Thread)

I haven't posted much but I put a ton of work into getting my part of things done. Took about a week longer than I had hoped, so if you want to direct your pitchforks and torches at anyone, send them my way.

To get an idea of how long things can take. I had to create 258 of the 900 Teams top 30 prospects. Average 5 to 15 minutes per player. Do the math on how long that takes.

Researching heights, weights, positions, secondary positions, birth places, skin tone, faces, batting stances, equipment (one for fielding and one for batting). When you take into account a lot of these guys not in the game were 17 and 18 year olds, there wasn't a lot of google images so I had to do a lot of searching to get enough information.

The default rosters were okay, but that's still almost 1/3 of the 900 prospects I had to edit. If you follow my YouTube channel you will see how radio silent my videos have been. I've put all of my free time into this project. I mean, I want to play the game as well!

Hopefully Viator has learned his lesson on giving ETA's haha. Things always take longer than you anticipate.

Here's the breakdown of created prospects by team.

          Baltimore Orioles - 6
          Boston Red Sox - 9
          New York Yankees - 6
          Tampa Bay Rays - 6

Huge thanks for your great work! I'm really looking forward to it!

BTW I have one question regarding Cutter. As you know every cutter breaks either more vertical or horizontal. How do you distinguish between them in deciding the pitch types? (like in Curveballs, more vertical one is 12-6 Curve while more horizontal break is Sweeping Curveball).

I think Cutter which, say, Scherzer and Kikuchi throw are more like Splitters rather than Cutters breaking vertically just before it reachers a hitter. Could I have your opinion?

Really no distinctions can be made in the game so it is just left as a “cutter” regardless

Yeah, I agree. I’ve once tried Splitter but it didn’t work right. Anyway, thanks for your reply bro!

Just want to say I’ve followed roster building for years on here and almost all major roster editing hits it’s ETA or somewhere around the ballpark. So being delayed is normal lol.

I love your method and the features, looking forward to the roster drop!

Good job to all those involved!

I mean if they just made a “quick edit” feature like they have in 2K it would be way faster
