2022 Hybrid Roster (rerate) - released
Ok. Here is how I set up for Franchise- 30 team control.
Set up 2 profiles- one for you to use and one for the CPU to use. I set up my user profile and copy that as the CPU one. Make sure all mode specific franchise categories are set to manual except for scouting.
Start your franchise- choose your profile for your personal team and the second profile for all others.
I start my franchise in Spring training.
Go to the user settings and select manual injuries for both profiles - double check and make sure waivers are turned off.
Now to manually injure players you pick one player to take off the 40 man - and use fangraphs roster resource to find out actual injuries. I place each injured players one at a time onto the 40 if they are not on it - go to injured list tab, press R1 to be able to select the injury and R1 again to place on the appropriate injured list. To do the full league should take an hour or so.
Note - I only injure 60 day IL players
Sim ahead or play first few days and go back and put players removed from 40 man roster back on.
Go back to user settings and set profiles back to on for injuries.
Once you are ready to start the regular season- set you second profile mode specific options to how you want them and play.
I personally leave waivers off during spring trading so I can move minor leaguers on my team up and down.
