There are 2 scan faces added in this weeks roster update 06/24/22.





* I had to look up things manually again. They still list players already on the game under roster updates in DD.

There could be other players added or scans made, but going off what was documented this is who was added.

Here below is the known issues with 5 of the 7 players added this week. [The issue is they were added without any career teams listed, No career stats or career total stats listed and RP Max Castillo should be 280lbs]

RP Jose Leclerc TEX [SCAN FACE] [He was given 0 career stats and he has 0 career total stats]

This will be my very last response to this ridiculous message you left in my very own thread, I know I shouldn't even bother responding to a TROLL but I enjoy proving my point! Anything after this point will just be ignored!

Ignore me if you want, but i'm talking with all the respect you deserve for what you do here to inform the community, which is huge!, is easy to see that mlb the show doesn't have just two types of faces as you classified them, there are at least 3 types of faces:

scanned (non editable): the ones that mmm are scanned xD like they had a photoshoot with the player.

custom (non editable): these are the tricky ones, the MTS team make those from scratch with the game engine tools to look as good as they can, some are great some are not, some are just garbage xD

made with ingame editor (editable): the team made these with the game editor without any attention to detail.

I'm a padres fan so is super easy to identify which one of these type of faces my guys have, for example these are some of the custom faces I notice (not scanned but made with some level of effort with the game engine):

-Jake Cronenworth
-Ha-seong Kim
-Nabil Crismatt
-C.J. Abrams
-Webster Rivas
-Robert Suarez
-Ryan Weathers
-Nick Martinez

* This was created on 4/22/22 and they updated the rosters on 4/29/22 - 5/20/22 - 5/26/22 - until now 8/03/22 (We are at UPDATE 16) the players in NEON GREEN were added and players still in RED are still missing as of 8/3/22.


There is no more players missing from beginning of the year.

This is why I wish The Show had a feature where you can import players into an existing Franchise Mode.

I've never really paid much attention to other teams rosters that much in terms of ratings. Looking over the Padres roster...Soto is only an 82 this year?

You are correct, I went back and looked at each update and he actually was added 6/30/22 but was not on there player added list then. He was the final missing player from beginning of the year.


I will update my list for that week.
