Re: OS94 (MLB 22) Thread
Hi Phil, I take it this project lost steam over the year. Any chance you can post what you have completed so far to the vault? Anything would be a great help as there is nothing for mid-90's rosters at all uploaded for MLB22. Thanks!Last edited by artvandeleghe; 12-08-2022, 02:05 PM.PSN ID: artvandelegheComment

Re: OS94 (MLB 22) Thread
New version coming out tonight! Here are the notes: (Yeah, I know it's a tease. I'll release at around 4 Eastern time.
- The set now has 1211 players, which gives you 40-man rosters in Fantasy Draft and something around 40-man rosters without it. Not every team has the same number of players, but they're all around 40, considering Tampa and Arizona have very few and you have in reality around 1200 players split amongst 28 teams so you're in the high 30s at least.
- The Free Agents list is now split in four.
* The regular Free Agents list has players who have MLB experience who are still active or just retired at the end of the 93 season and are 35 years and under. This will also include the 1995 replacement players.
* The Mid-Century team has retired players that are between the ages of 39 and 45.
* The Expansion team has retired players that are between the ages of 36 and 38.
* The other team has players that have yet to play in MLB but will in the future, most of which are international free agents e.g. Japanese players.
This has functionally no effect on regular Franchise play, as all the players get grouped in one list anyways. But it allows you to remove a certain category of players more easilly if you don't want it in your game, for exemple, if you don't want all the international free agents in Free Agency, you can just trade all of them to a team, generic them out, and move the team's original players back. It also allows me to better see the players I will use to fill the rosters of Tampa and Arizona.
- All Free Agent Legends have been removed. You can now turn Legends ON in Franchise mode before Fantasy Draft and the game will not generate fakes to fill their spots in the database as it would if you turned Legends OFF.
- Rosters (expanded prospect pools nothwithstanding) are accurate as of April 1st 1994 at midnight, meaning that if it happened on April 1st, it is NOT in the game.
There will be more updates! I hope next year's version of the game will allow easy porting of this year's rosters so I don't have to start from scratch next time.Last edited by Phil Parent; 12-13-2022, 10:20 AM.Comment

And it's out! Look for OS94 (Version 3) by Phil Parent.
As usual, I've removed the previous version to avoid confusion.
Up next, completing all MLB rosters.Last edited by Phil Parent; 12-13-2022, 06:00 PM.Comment

Re: OS94 (MLB 22) Thread
These are the players who really played on ARI/TB, that debuted in the league with them and are within the age range in 1994 I'll accept.
A lot more than I expected! The latest one to debut is Jason Childers who was 19 in 1994 and debuted as late as 2006.

I see it on yours but on my MLB22 PS5 it's not there and I have only 611 pages of rosters on it ........ apparently those roster vaults are different ? ----- I noticed that I have an Update file for MLB22 PS5 so I am applying it now as PERHAPS that is causing this issue ALTHOUGH I do see some uploads for today Dec 13th on the Roster Vault I now pull up --- in fact, a couple of pages of them ??? UPDATE: Still no luck after applying the latest game update ---- still only show 611 pages on my Roster Vault ?Last edited by doncropper; 12-14-2022, 09:38 AM.Comment

Re: OS94 (MLB 22) Thread
That's odd, Don.
Do you see other recent uploads from XBOX users? Anybody else on PS5 not seeing it?

I'll try to reupload when I get home, maybe it didn't share to PS5 properly.
So everybody will get a 10-ish player update if you want it. Alejandro Pena, Rafael Belliard, Dennis Rasmussen, Mike Marshall (RF) & Sid Bream (who was OUT at the plate in the 1992 NLCS!) will be the standouts.
Will be shared as Version 3.1PSN ID: artvandelegheComment

Re: OS94 (MLB 22) Thread
fantastic, an early Christmas present, thanks!
but both those will be two equally challenging franchises to try to build into WS contenders
but with '94, I'm probably leaning more interest towards trying to navigate Colorado or the Marlins into championship territory
thanks again!OSFM23 - Building Better Baseball - OSFM23
