Re: Complete Fictional Roster Released
Those that did a fantasy draft with these rosters, how did it turn out?
Nashville Stars picked 3rd and took SP Kenny Ingram rated 91. 2nd pick was LF Bryson Bell.
I did a test draft and picked 23rd before and each time I’m ranked 1st overall. I just don’t want to cheese the computer if they don’t know how to pick their teams.
I haven’t done much with fantasy draft other than a couple test runs. It seems to me the cpu values the really young players with high potential, which might be thrown off a little by the fact that the oldest players on the roster are only 24. They’ll take a 60 rated A potential 19 yo player over a 70 rated C potential 24 yr old player. That strategy may play out better over time but it does allow you to put a pretty good team in the field in the first year.Comment

This is some good work, I like the fact that the OVR are not all ridiculously high.🇺🇸 58,281 🇺🇸Comment

Re: Complete Fictional Roster Released
I know it’s lat in the cycle but it takes a really long time lol
I uploaded a complete 93 man fictional roster to the vault. Been working on it since release when Bacon determined not to do his again this year. I’ve done this before, you can go back to the very first fictional rosters on The Show on this site. I was a part of the first team and then lead the team the second year. I loved Bacon’s roster and don’t pretend it to be as good as his but I think you should be happy with it.
The concept was of a new league to rival MLB starting from scratch. The league consists of 18-24 yo to start. Major club and AAA consist of players between the age of 21-24. AA and A consist of players 18-20. This was the fictional rules I set up to start the league. All movement is “legal” after the start of the season of course. Salaries are comparably low to mlb to signify a startup league. I’m working on 30 fictional teams as well for my ‘chise (16 of the 30 done) but that’s obviously not necessary.
Anyways, hope you enjoy.
You can find the roster in the fantasy vault under sluggbugg. I’ll come up with a better name for it later.
Great job!
Did you make up fictional names for the teams names?
If so is there a list of the 30 team's names?I am the way

Re: Complete Fictional Roster Released
Hey SB, I downloaded your fictional roster and am very impressed.
Is there a list of the teams to use in your roster?
I want to make some uniforms and don't know if there are certain logos in the vault to use?I am the way

Re: Complete Fictional Roster Released
Bacon & Buggs, an unbeatable combination
you guys should consider teaming up sometime in the future so you have more time to enjoy the fruits of your labours
one guy work on AL, one on NL
and even possibly look for a third guy,
1 man for 10 east teams
1 for 10 central
1 for 10 west
in any event, thanks again buggs!OSFM23 - Building Better Baseball - OSFM23

Re: Complete Fictional Roster Released
Fired up a fantasy draft with these rosters and damn has it made me realize how much I miss fictional rosters. It's made the game fun for me again. I was on the fence if I'll be buying 23 but these fictional rosters I think made my decision for me. Well done slugg

Re: Complete Fictional Roster Released
Are these rosters for MLB22? I’m stuck playing 21 cause I cannot play without fictional rosters and bacons roster. I’d love to try yours if this if for 22. Cause if someone even does one for 23 and won’t be ready for months so I’ll just get 22 if these rosters are good. ThanksComment
