    Player Ratings in ‘23

I know SDS is taking some heat over the rosters. I get it. However, i will say that i am a big fan of the player rating separation. Parody is key. SDS has done a good job of creating that here. You have your 90 rated elites, 80 rated stars, 70 rated everyday MLB players and the majority in the 60s where they belong as cusp MLB “may never make it or are past their time” player.

Listen, they need work. Dont get me wrong. The players faces are terrible and some realism needs to be added. Fast players need to be faster, power players require the power etc. That will be adjusted in the Vaults.

But scrolling thru these rosters, i will say i was happy with the parody. Example is NHL 23 doesn’t do that what so ever but Madden and NBA does. If your starter gets hurt or is fatigued.. and requires to be subd.. you should feel it. There should be a difference between your 81 starting SS vs the 68 rated veteran in AAA your calling up.

SDS has been taking some heat and i just wanted to shed some love where its required. Loving the game and the changes. Enjoy.

yeah, I don't play online so any rating that doesn't sit well with me, I'm glad SDS gave us the ability to edit those ratings.
and parity is excellent to a point. I mean, I dont want every player with a 66 rating at every attribute but that would create the ultimate in parity.
meanwhile, I'm currently simming 100 years into the future, and I've seen even further separation, with some players falling into the 20's with their OverAll
