Re: Opening Day Injury List for Every MLB Team
I couldn’t wait. I downloaded a Tatis with stats, added him to the first SCEA update and started. I am 17-10 in second, 2.5 games behind LAD. Tired of playing with the Sox year after year so wanted to try and get SD their first title. Can always download an updated roster later and sim to the point I left off.

Feeling the same way especially since I've never used rosters like Ridin's before. Picked a bad year to start using them lolMLB New York Yankees
NFL New York Giants
NBA Brooklyn Nets
NHL New Jersey Devils
EPL Manchester United

If it’s any consolation, Ridin does do a wonderful job with the minors but this years minor leagues out of the box are much improved. No fake players, etc…
One of the major things I like to wait on is equipment edits, it really adds a heavy amount of immersion for me.

Here is the link for injuries. Sorry for the delay!
This will tell you which day to injure each player in Spring Training. They are not perfect but close enough to make it realistic. Best I could do until The Show lets us create our own injury lengths. Hope it helps!!Comment

Opening Day Injury List for Every MLB Team
The OP has injury times that you can’t set in the game, am I missing something here?
Or am I doing something wrong?

Re: Opening Day Injury List for Every MLB Team
You’ll need to improvise. I merely just added what the injuries were and the best estimate for time for each one.
Some guys who are injuries for 100 days, pick between 70 in game or 180. I usually go for less time.. but it’s totally up to you.

You can use the IL dates from https://www.fangraphs.com/roster-resource/injury-report, they also put estimated return dates whenever it's knownComment

I only listed guys who were actually placed on 10,15 or 60 Day IL, hope that helps!

Re: Opening Day Injury List for Every MLB Team
I'm a little late to the party, but I thought I'd share one 'workaround' to what I do for teams that have more than 5 players injured at a time.
To provide accurate service time to players with less than 6 years, what I do is if there are 5+ players injured I remove the players with 6+ years of Service time from the 40-man roster. This allows the players with less than 6 years of service time accumulate the correct amount of days so their project free agent year isn't messed with. For example, the Red Sox have 7 players to start the year on the IL, 2 more spots than allotted. To fix this, I:
INF Adalberto Mondesi (60 Day IL > Knee) - 60 Days
INF Trevor Story (60 Day IL > Elbow Surgery) Since Story has 6+ years of service I removed him from the 40 and put him in A-Ball. You can Injure him there if you please.
SP Brayan Bello (15 Day IL > Forearm Tightness) - 15 Days
SP James Paxton (15 Day IL > Strained Hamstring) REMOVED as well from 40.
SP Garrett Whitlock (15 Day IL > Hip) - 15 Days
RP Wyatt Mills (15 Day IL > Strained Back) - 30 Days
RP Joely Rodriguez (15 Day IL > Strained Oblique) - 30 Days
It's not a perfect system and doesn't always work, but arbitration and FA is more important to have accurate.Comment
