The 99Rating Club List...

It's hard to tell what Ridin's role with TheShow will be and if you're like me I have trust issues with random roster makers. If we start to get updates and they do not adjust some of these 99 ratings we are going to have to take matters into our own hands.

So far the two that stand out to me:

Byron Buxton 99 PWR v. LHP & RHP (Career high 28 HR last year; only season over 20) - this one not making sense to me.

Corbin Carroll Def. deserves his 99 speed but only a 4 rating for stealing bases??? That's like having the ability to throw 100mph and throw nothing but knuckleballs; def. going to have raise that if they don't.

Anyone else have any so far?

Buxton only hit 28 HR's last year, but he only played 92 games. If he kept the same pace over 600 plate appearances he would have hit 44 HR. Over the past 3 years he has averaged 46.7 HR/600 PA and he is in the top 6 in the MLB in ISO vs. righties and lefties over the past 3 years, so that's where his 99 power comes from. The physical skills are definitely elite for Buxton it's just a matter of keeping him healthy

Not really sure why Carroll has such a low steal rating. He was pretty efficient in the minors last year

Yea good point, I noticed Buxton's big number and low amount of games played. Haven't looked but surely if they gave him the 99s for PWR they made him a mess for durability.

We agree with Caroll's 99 speed, but have him at 57 for stealing and 59 for baserunning aggressiveness.

Buxton's power is real, even though he can't stay healthy. We have Buxton at 94 power vs righties, and 89 vs lefties.
