Player Prospect Symbol

Does anyone know if we are able to somehow assign/reassign the player prospect symbol manually? Or is this locked from within the roster (hard-coded)?

it's hard coded in the criteria used to determine which players get it. but it can be manipulated if you choose to

A few things come into play as factors. Those are age, current overall, potential, and current level.

^^ what Funkycorm said. I don't believe a player in single A can be on the list. also if a player has too many days of service they're excluded too. I don't remember what the cutoff on service time is.

the game will also weigh the players against each other because it'll only allow 100 to get the top prospects tag

The weird thing this year is that A ball players will show up on the top 50 prospect list but they won't have the icons next to their name on the roster screen.
