Re: The TrueSim Roster Project: MLB 24
Quick question are we getting a trade deadline update or no because I’ve taken a break from MLB but now I’m back and wanted to see if the rosters we’re getting updated after the deadline?Comment

Re: The TrueSim Roster Project: MLB 24
I noticed Jarren Durran is a 71 overall with a C potential? What is the reasoning for this? Shouldn't have at least B potential? Also there's a lot of A and B potential players, doesn't that water it down and make players stand out less?Last edited by ov3rTheRid6e96; 07-26-2024, 08:05 PM.Comment

If potentials are too low for prospects, teams will value them less. They already don't value them as much as they should.Comment

Re: The TrueSim Roster Project: MLB 24
I haven’t played MLBTS in 4 years but finally caved and got a PS5 for this and CFB. Now I’m trying to start a franchise post trade deadline. Has anybody gone through the latest release of this roster and updated the transactions? I used to be so active in this community and even helped edit some of the rosters in years past. But now the community seems so different and not as active as a few years ago. Growing up sucksPSN: lxl_Porta_lxl

Re: The TrueSim Roster Project: MLB 24
Okay...I'm done trying to start a new franchise with this ******* game.
I set up 30 team control using two profiles (user and CPU) using a YouTube video explaining the process, set my user profile to the team I wanted to control on a day to day basis (Braves) and then spent a couple hours setting up RHP and LHP lineups and pitching rotations for every team based on real life Opening Day and 5 or so games into the season as closely as possible using RotoGraphs, Baseball-Reference and a couple other sites.
Once I got that done I played my first game as the Braves. I allowed it to simulate the other games on the same day as my game vs. the Phillies as I was informed that doing so would allow me to see a score ticker of games around the league while I was playing mine. Well first thing I noticed was I didn't get any ticker whatsoever during my game but I figured that was a minor annoyance I could figure out as I went along through the season.
The dealbreaker was after I finished my game. As I went through the other teams to see if everything played out as I figured it should in regards to how I had set up the lineups and pitching rotations I noticed that every team had reverted back to the lineups and pitching rotations as they were before I edited them and this seemed to have happened before I simulated any games. So essentially all the work I did was for nothing.
This is not my first year playing The Show and this type of issue seems to have existed for as long as I can remember. Not sure how the devs can continue to not be able to figure out how to fix this unless this is just the way they've designed the game to act for whatever insane reason. But yeah I'm done unless someone can give me a way to prevent this from happening.Comment

Always go small when testing. Setting up 2-3 teams that way would've revealed it most likely.Comment

Make sure that your settings (profile) are all manual. Make sure if you don't want the CPU to screw up the other teams that their lineups/rotations are also manual.
I'm sure we can figure this out.
I manage lineups and rotations for all teams and I haven't had any issues. If someone gets hurt, I'll get prompted to fix their lineup/rotation.
I have roster moves on auto too.Comment

: for seeing in game real time you have to open the calendar hit the X button over your game to be played that day it will bring up the sub menu with other options for that day simming all games, season etc. You just want to simulate the games individually and then you leave the atlanta game as the only one to be played. Back out of the calender and go to play today's game and start. All the games with then show up active or will show up and games waiting to start while you are in your game on the ticker scroll.
