For Wander Franco, Trevor Bauer, Julio Urias, maybe just bury them in the FA list with very low ratings. If ever they come back, we can slide them in and adjust ratigns accordingly ?

People can adjust ratings down if they want to bury them and not use them. All are welcome in my franchise! lol

What happened to the buzz around this project? This roster has been a staple for 10+ years and it seem like all interest is gone.

I get that the OGs like Knight and Rodin aren't a part of it anymore, but a lot of the key guys remain. There is no more chatter here, twitter or anywhere?

Can't wait to see what you guys deliver, waiting patiently to start my franchise!

What happened to the buzz around this project? This roster has been a staple for 10+ years and it seem like all interest is gone.

I get that the OGs like Knight and Rodin aren't a part of it anymore, but a lot of the key guys remain. There is no more chatter here, twitter or anywhere?

Can't wait to see what you guys deliver, waiting patiently to start my franchise!

Couple of factors I'm guessing, first and most important is that the game basically already comes out with full rosters with about 75% of accurate minor league rosters. 10+ years ago this wasn't the case. you were lucky to have everyone on the 40 man on there with maybe a small handful of minor league players and then maybe another 40-50 generic guys. So the release was "more important" back then

2. I think the core guys are tired from hearing of all the questions and constant ETA estimations. Now they can go from their own pace and give an update every now and then.

3. There's some competition now, Cycloniac has a really good roster coming out soon that is just as good as OSFM, franchise fidelity to reality is another good roster that usually comes out first before these two and alot of people are satisfied with that.

4. The sad truth, were getting old man! haha (myself included), back then the people who were working on this game and waiting for the roster to come out didnt have as many family and work responsibilities as we do now.

Nail, meet the head lol. I also think with year to year saves going away most people just go ahead and cue their franchises up. Waiting two months just isn’t an option for some people. I play multiple sports games throughout the year, so I will probably be somewhat done with the show come July-August

Hopefully after the roster update today, it won't be much longer for the osfm release. I've been waiting to start my franchise cause I want a real version of Jung Hoo Lee and Shota.

You make a great point, especially #4. I remember being in college when OSFM would come out and I would just grind for days after that putting in as much walk up music, just to do it the very next year.

So you kind of touched on it. The OG, Ridin, not being a part of it. But... he basically spearheaded the OFSM roster project and he is now head of rosters for the Show. So a lot of the corrections and things that needed to be done on the back end after the game released, he can do on the front end.

But I would be remised to mention that the Full Minors roster does excel as far as the ability to add in missing veterans in the minors, missing free agents, upcoming draft picks etc. They also , IMO, have way better CAPS for like 50% of the players.

Yeah hoping the "updated face appearances" means more new scans as well as some CAP clean-ups.

Just hope we get them with face scans.

I bet Jung-Hoo Lee will have a scan since he had a pretty good one last year from the WBC. Hopefully Imanaga will too, but there's a couple good CAPs in the vault too
