Re: Full minors 24 news?
Is this going to effectively be OSFM this year? The updates by SDS? Or will Ridin and the crew still have a separate roster?Comment

Re: Full minors 24 news?
It will probably be as close to OSFM as SDS is legally allowed to do. There won't be any minor leaguers with service time like OSFM used to have.Comment

Without sounding disrespectful or ignorant, I already knew that lol. Follow him on twitter. Just haven’t seen much as in previous years and figured his role at SDS would be even bigger and busier this year.Comment

Re: Full minors 24 news?
Unfortunately, Ridin isn't able to help out with the Full Minors roster. But his effect can be felt more and more with each live roster update. His work is making our job easier.
The roster update we've been waiting for came out today. This should be the base roster we'll build from. No ETA yet but things are moving along much smoother this season.

Re: Full minors 24 news?
I’m still most looking forward to this roster. The set came out pretty far in to the season last year which is understandable given the amount of work is required. That being said, I think the timing may have turned some people off.Comment

Will there be an announcement on these forums, or only on Twitter/X when the rosters are released?Comment

Re: Full minors 24 news?
I don't mean any disrespect at all to the guys doing the OSFM Full Minors now.....but the game has had VERY GOOD rosters right out of the gate the past two years. A large part of that is that Ridin now works fow development team.
The game rosters are close enough that if you just spend a little time on Fan Graphs and a couple other sites. You can move the necessary players, download a handful of players from the Vault within the game, then spend a little time adjusting the rosters, lineups, rotations for each team and you certainly have a roster set that's good enough to start your franchise
Here are some helpful sites:

I've spent two nights about 3 to 4 hours each night at most getting my own roster squared away and had something that was what I considered to be pretty damn good. What I do is as I play my season/franchise....prior to each series, I make sure I have done any necessary updates to that team (30 team control) and edit the equipment for each player on the MLB roster rather than editing equipment for each team at the start of the season.
Again, I mean no disrespect at all to the guys working on the rosters and I'm certain that what they release is going to be awesome.....but I feel like we have FINALLY reached the point that the game rosters are getting close to where we don't need people going through all the work and dealing with the pressure of expectationsLast edited by TNKNGM; 04-13-2024, 02:44 AM.Comment
