Re: Pop CulPture Fictional Rosters
Not sure if it's been listed yet, but you should definitely include the cast of "Everybody Wants Some," the best baseball movie no one's ever seen.Comment

Re: Pop CulPture Fictional Rosters
As soon as I can complete the rosters, I will release it to the vault. I have been releasing individual players on there occasionally, but it's probably still a few months from being completed. I'm reading a lot of books and watching a lot of shows/movies to get numbers and such correct. I plan on filling the entire teams and am short on a lot of pitchers. If anyone has any suggestions, they could be greatly appreciated. Otherwise, it's going to be a bit before I get everything finished. I can get burned out rather quickly, so I'm trying to prevent that.
I will patiently wait then! What's your username? I may see the ones you've already uploaded. I love this idea!!!Comment

Re: Pop CulPture Fictional Rosters
Interesting, was exactly my college experience (less the dick measuring, which I don't recall from the movie either....unless you mean it figuratively). Anyway, thanks for including it.Comment

Re: Pop CulPture Fictional Rosters
I'd you think about it, Mitch was a pitcher entering freshman year HS 1976. Jake is a pitcher entering college in early 80s in not 1980. Both are Texas.
Linklater called it a spiritual sequel.
Since he was 20 in 1980 and played baseball in HS, I've always just figured those two characters are loosely based on him.Comment

I may be missing some Cheers guys, but it's been a while since I've watched thet series all the way through, but I have an open spot for two position players and for a pitcher. This just leaves the Washington Nationals, St. Louis Cardinals, and Detroit Tigers left to post.Last edited by MysterioMan007; 04-29-2024, 05:50 PM.Comment
