User Search Workaround In Vault

Anybody else run into an issue where you try to search for a user or perhaps a name and the search comes back empty, no matter how you spell it or shorten it, even though there are CAPs in the vault for them?


Example: Slippy_Smithers has some great faces for guys I've been trying to find better faces for, and if you search say Marcelo Mayer, you'll find his CAP for it. If you search for Slippy_Smithers, vault comes empty. Try doing just Slippy or Slip, still nothing. I'm really curious what other faces he might've done because the two or three that I've seen, really good.



Feel like we're missing out on a bunch of good faces potentially because the vault isn't kicking them out via search. Anybody find a work around for this?

When searching for Mayer you searching by name but when searching for the author you switch it to online id right ?

Yeah, definitely switching to online ID. Like to go off the example above, if I put in Slip and search that, i'm able to find SlippingPrince's CAPs, but not Slippy_Smithers.



Previously had the same issue with Lupercale77 (great CAP's from Asian leagues), if you put the whole handle in, you'd get zip. Put in "Lupe" and you'd be able to see the players he'd created. It's working now for Lupercale77, so maybe it's just a glitch in the system, but was wondering if anybody figured out a way around it.

Just had the same thing happen with YaJJung's CAP's. Only way I can grab the Jung Hoo Lee one is to search Jung Hoo Lee and then find YaJJung's version. The vault has really struggled as of late. Wasn't doing that just the other day.

I find that sometimes the cross platform vault doesn't find the name of a creator who is on a different platform than myself. It could also be possible that the creator has more than one username on different consoles and mistakenly gives the wrong username on here.

I'm actually getting it exclusively in the vault. So like for example, the V2 TrueSim is going to drop and I wanted to update some of the faces for ones I liked better, so I've got a list of ones to download to port over, but if you go in the vault right now and check out those ones I was referencing above, it's only findable via player name, not via user name. It's the weirdest thing.


And I promise, I'm switching between "Name" and "Online ID", haha.
