Its not a cap issue. Its an issue of I edited an existing minor leaguer into someone else, not Create a Player. Despite changing his audio, Miniak still announces the original player. The female announcers correctly say the right audio.

Re: The Show 25: Missing players and possible comparisons
If you are editing an existing player who has an editable profile (face and name) into someone else, that is a CAP. So if you are editing an existing player who’s name is Smith into McDonald, and it still says Smith, that would be a CAP issue. That means the original players name is stuck on the original CAP. Thats why i was asking if you imported a player over that CAP, if Smith would still remain.

Re: The Show 25: Missing players and possible comparisons
So i dont remember, whenever we import over a milb player for exanple that has audio when he comes to plate, ( with it left blank in audio) will it ever be announced again?
i guess its a no when u port over a player from 24, however what about with players from 25 that just get faced worked on etc., then sent back to the vualt,
will they still have audio if they did at luanch? thanksComment

Re: The Show 25: Missing players and possible comparisons
Apologies if this derails the thread, but have we ever gotten a clear answer as to why non-40 players from last year don't appear in the game? It can't be the MLBPA because Sony made a big deal about having minor leaguers in the game five or so years ago.
Someone like Ian Anderson doesn't fail to exist (there are MANY more examples). He had a real face in the game at some point, but because he doesn't pitch for year he's no longer a real guy? If Sony has his assets why are they not using them? How are they able to have the scans of all the minor league players, but not people like this?
I can't make sense of this at all.Comment

Re: The Show 25: Missing players and possible comparisons
My understanding is that once you are a member of the MLBPA, you then operate under a different set of rules. MiLB'ers with no service time aren't in the PA and are fair game. I don't know why it is the way it is. I can't blame Sony. They must follow the rules, not set them.Comment
