Lol right? I was talking to a friend just yesterday about how we used to wait for RidinRosters to drop every year haha. Felt like going to a midnight release of a video game [emoji23][emoji23]

Man these threads were amazing back then, I even remember back when Knight was still around doing the rosters, good times

I absolutely enjoy the using the ignore list feature. My apologies if I offended anyone with my previous post but although not my forums but I did create this thread as I do every year. Do I own it? Nope and have no issues with discussions or people posting to what it contains to, but when guys come in here being TROLLS then your damn right I'm going to speak my mind about nonsense thats being posted in a thread I created. I dont own it or control it but I'm not going to set back and say nothing while they derail it and goes off course instead of what it's really ment for.

If my way of doing things or explaining how it all works from many conversations I've had over the years with developers behind the scenes is not your cup of tea then it's easy you dont half to enter this thread and read it. It's not like I put this in any other thread I put it here an actual thread I created myself.

I think when the Full Minors started releasing in the last couple months of the season . . .

I dont think anyone really cares or wants to begin with default but their are some guys (slider guys) who prefer default based on gameplay, ratings etc think it plays a way better game long term.


I think default rosters just gets used as a reference or comparison to other rosters and before SDS begins to start removing players as the updates begin.



But your right or whoever mentioned it when Knight was around and how that was a tradition for folks waiting on those as him and Scott at one point had to enter each player 1 by 1 manually to a global file or master file.


I have done rosters since early 80s and once was doing them on MVP and 2k Baseball before I came to the show.


But yeah things definitely different around here. I remember games that had no patches lol or scan faces.

I agree and there's others but him being at the level he is he will get a scan this year.


We also have some amazing CAP makers out there that sometimes can do a better face than a SCAN offers.

I have a question about face scans or players updated like Jesse Winker getting long hair, would this only be in the rosters that they are updated in or can they be updated in any roster that has been out already? I'm looking to start a franchise and was holding out for this update

Sometimes they feel the scan given is appropriate. Only way I see him getting updated is if there's facial feature or hair drastically changing.
