    Healthy Scratch’s Sliders

To avoid clogging up S & B’s slider thread I’ll post what I’m using here. All feedback, good and bad, is welcome.
I’m going off memory but will edit later when I’m in front of the game if anything is different.

Fielding sliders are really good, until I take a bad route to a ball 😂

My offense has gone completely stagnant in recent games. I’ve lost 4 in a row for the 1st time this season while only scoring 2 runs or less in 3 of the 4. My pitching has been decent other than the one usual meltdown inning per game. Took a 2-0 lead into the 8th in my last game, my setup man gave up a single and tying 2-run homer with 2 outs. I didn’t score in the 9th and gave up a walk-off solo homer in a lefty/lefty matchup. It was one of those long at bats too where their hitter fouled off 5 or 6 fastballs in a row, so I finally went with a changeup on 2-2 and he hit it out. Crushing loss after wasting a brilliant 7 inning, 0 run, 4 hit, 9K performance from my #1 starter.

Are you noticing a big dip in offense for both user and CPU? I swear that it's been nerfed a little in recent updates. Someone else mentioned he noticed the CPU chase rate was up 20% for him. I tend to agree that I've seen this myself, but it's hard to say unless more people are having the same issues.

My last 7 games the CPU chase rate was 29%. 28% is the average. The last 2 games I played on HOF was 30%.

Not too much but overall I feel like the cpu offense is getting a little weak. I’m starting to think solid hits can’t be less than 4. Homeruns are too low for me now.

Good analysis. Solid hits can’t be lower than 4 and Wind can’t be lower than 4 either. If you use random number generator for Wind and you use settings less than 4 you will see a marked reduction in homeruns. CPU contact should be 5 or 6 as well. Anything less will raise your stirkeout totals to 10+ per game. A big caveat to this and all sliders made by anyone is what roster you are using. If not default SDS roster your mileage may vary as some roster makers tweak player ratings.
