I really do love the sliders, they are just about perfect and realistic in every aspect. I am just having one problem, I've played 14 games in my franchise, and I cant seem to strike more than 3-4 guys out a game. I thought at first maybe it was just a fluke, but I have never struck out more than four. Gerrit Cole had a 2 hit shut out last game and struck out 1 guy.... any possible tweak to correct this??

Are you pitching the corners and outside the strike zone?

Well slugga, i can tell you it aint the sliders as through 25 games in my franchise im leading the league with around 225 strikeouts

Jay is right, its about working the corners and setting hitters up, in and out up and down, deliberately throwing balls at times to set the next pitch up.

What level are you on?

I am 14 games into my Blue Jays franchise and i'm sitting at 6-8. A couple of one sided games, literally a couple. The rest have been anywhere between 1-4 run games. Striking out quite a bit but I think it's due to my lack of patience at the plate and trying to be over aggressive. i'm hitting for a lot of power.

So far most of my runs come via Homeruns. I'm second in the league in that category. I'm enjoying this set of sliders but I would like to see fewer home runs and more balls hit in the gap.

Literally before I started my last game, I considered ditching these sliders, sorry Pyscho, and then I changed my mind since i'm overall enjoying them. I end up scoring 6 runs by the 4th inning and they were in result of scattered hits w/ one homerun. Glad I stuck with these sliders.

Gonna be playing this a lot over the summer after finishing my semester at college. Can't wait to try these out.
One quick question, these will work fine for Franchise Mode right?
Also is there a specific roster you suggest using with these, or will just any OSFM work fine?

I've read your replies concerning lack of home runs, and I agree you should wait cause it could be streaky. But, I am on May 12th of my chise and my team (pirates) have 16 Team homeruns, last in the league. I hit balls of the wall, gap shots, solid hits to the wall each and every game. But I cant hit a homerun, and when i do, its only with Neil Walker, McCutchen, and Alvarez. Marte, Polanco, Hart, all have 0. I tried tweaking the power up a notch for a few games, but no cigar. It can't be because I am bad at hitting, because I get double digit hits all too often its almost unrealistic. I play on all star, analog timing, no directional hitting. Do you have any suggestions, your sliders are really amazing in every other aspect, thats why I dont want to abandon them.

Are there any changes to your sliders? I am just getting a PS4 and the game this month. I like the fact that most of the sliders are on default as I have had serious bouts of slideritis in the past - to a point where it has almost ruined the game for me. I would love it if the game was perfect right out of the box. I am still playing 2013 version on a PS3 so looking forward to the new game. I use timing hitting and classic pitching on AllStar - I'm assuming that I will be able to play the same on 2015? Thanks
