Honestly I would try switching up your pitching approach before tweaking the sliders I wish we still had the thread from last year, I'm not exactly sure what happened to me last year but everyone in here was complaining about k numbers and i switched something up and my numbers took off.
It's hard to explain but here's something to try:
1. Slow down on the mound, don't be afraid to pause before and/or after you select your pitch.
2. Use R2 religiously, see where you've been and with what then adjust accordingly.
3. Throw balls just throw balls don't be afraid to start an at bat with a ball out the zone, and throw first pitch changes curves sliders etc..
4. Don't ever allow yourself to get into a blow fastball by them for strike 3 funk. It's ok to occasionally especially if you've thrown a high change or low fastball in the at bat already but I mainly focus on breaking pitches and changes for k's.
5. Last thing if you don't have a few walks a game your k numbers won't look good plain and simple, throw at corners like crazy all the time. Have a 3-1 count? I don't care throw at the corner, hell I'm known to throw curves below the knees on 3-1, 3-0 counts.
Just some things to try before fiddling with sliders as they're very fickle, also sorry for typos or wrong words I'm on my phone on this bouncy *** tractor soo. Also remember who your pitching with some guys don't get many misses and their ratings reflect that.
