Try these sliders with dynamic difficulty, they still play an excellent game but that way you can find your difficulty level

Home runs are coming pretty easily, I tuned timing down to 4 and put the CPU Pitcher Consinstency up to default 5. On the mound I have played years with a pitch marker so to not have one is extremly difficult to me, so I put the marker back on but lowered the Hum Pitcher Control a click to 3 I believe but honestly the CPU is just not getting good wood a lot so I had to turn up solid hits back to 5.. Other than that I really like your settings so far, and I am now a fan of the "clean screen". Thanks for that!

This is how I play with these sliders and dynamic difficulty and I have great games all the time it seems even as I advance or decline in pitching and hitting difficulty either together or separately. An occasional blowout by me or the cpu but that happens IRL. These sliders combined with DD are realistic baseball gold to me!

A question of mine is--I'm still getting used to 'Timing Hitting'--does the L stick directional influence where the batter is putting his bat in the zone or no. I love the concept of having the hitting be more 'rating' influenced than cursor placement, but was just curious. I didn't know if a lot of my popups or bloopers were because I am not utilizing the 'timed (directional)' properly or if this is just the case of the ratings/slider set taking effect. For instance, if I was thinking the pitcher was going down and away (right handed hitter), would I want to jam my left stick to the right and down to focus in that area or no. My thought for NOT doing this was that it would influence my hitter to hit the ball on the ground (which is what I believe the description was for using the down directional hitting) towards the 2nd and 1st baseman (given that my timing would have been a little late for the ball to be hit there). Am I correct, from your guys' experience, or no? I'm trying to continually get better at hitting, I really do love the slider, though. Thoughts everybody......?

I have a question. I am horrible at batting! Haha. I am doing the Quick counts Pitching all star and hitting veteran.. But I honestly can't do anything as a batter! What do I do to adjust the sliders or which one if I switch to dynamic? I honestly been wanting to start a franchise but I played about 30 games and I get so frustrated cause my battling horrible! Can someone please help me! Thank you!(:

Start a franchise on Dynamic Difficulty. Bump up your Dynamic Difficulty slider all the way while you play Spring Training until your difficulty level starts to even out or you're bouncing back and forth. Then lower the slider back down. You will still get good games I was surprised and I ended being at a lower difficulty level than I was playing on, and now I'm having more fun than ever with the game.

Thank you so much! I'll be doing this tomorrow. I can actually enjoy the game so much more now probably. I been getting frustrated cause my batting was horrifying. Team average of .120 with any time I picked. blue jays, Giants, Yankees, etc. thank you once again!

Okay. I did what you said and started a franchise and started playing on dynamic difficult with hitting and pitching there through spring training. My question is now my pitching is All-star like was but my batting is at Dynamic. Looks like it's staying there. Do i just import the sliders and use them as Armor got them posted and change batting from veteran to Dynamic? Where I'm lost at... Thank you!

I'm not sure what you mean here but it sounds like you have only hitting set to dynamic difficulty which is fine if you are happy with your pitching. Personally I did DD for both because I was curious what level the game says I should be at. "Dynamic" is not actually the difficulty level, your level will show at the very beginning of the half inning at the top of the screen for instance "Rookie" or "Rookie+" and then there will be another + or - next to that showing your progress toward the next level. So Rookie+ is a level but then it may have up to 4 "+" signs next to it showing your progress to the next level (they can also be "-" as well if you are digressing. I used these sliders all throughout my DD from the beginning and they still play an excellent game IMO, however I did lower CPU strike freq 1, CPU foul freq 1, and raised outfielder arm 1 to get more close plays and also seemed to remedy much of the issue of the wild throws from the outfield. I just didn't feel like there were enough close plays at home and/or third. Anyway, I hope I didn't confuse you more haha.

This actually cleared it up so more for me lol. I didn't import the sliders at all I just left them default. Only thing I changed was the Pitch speed, injury, and the Errors. I will plug in the sliders with this and play it out. I'll adjust what you adjusted too. First year of playing the Show. my pitching is perfectly fine at All-star just my batting is pretty bad. I'm overly aggressive and leads to lots of pop up, grounded outs, or just my timing off and I get Striked out. I have adjusted my pitching speed to help find comfortable speed. I'll test all this today. Lol. Day off of work, I'll be getting some games in. Thank you.

This game is absolutely amazing and just so much fun after you settle down with a difficult set for you. After 20+ games I've settled with rookie hitting (sad, I know. But I suck) and Veteran Pitching. (sad haha) I get some great games and I enjoy the sliders so much and the game now! Thank you padrefan for the help and Armor making this great set!

No worries man. I have been playing on all star (struggling) for years. Finally tried DD and I'm pretty settled in at veteran+. I was just always so concerned with challenging myself, it's nice to let the game decide for me. Glad I could help.
