The rate pitchers are going down in MLB these last few years I'm glad it's not totally realistic rate, lol (pounding on wood)

I think Injuries at 7 is spot on. It brings a good amount of injuries over a season and a bunch of different types and lengths.
Really wish sports games played to ratings!
Only thing SIM about sports games now, are the team name and players
      CFB 25 The absolute GOAT!!!
MLB 23 FOREVER 20 is better, 23 just for Guardians
Madden get rid of the extras (SS/XF, HFA, media, scenarios, game plan) or turn them down considerably.

Yes the injuries seem very realistic. Thanks again for this awesome set never had better games than i do now. Does anyone know when youre batting how to bring up the defensive alignment to see if they're up for a bunt? Seems to do it alot on the first pitch then dissapear for a few then pop back up randomly

Re: Armor & Sword's MLB The Show 15 Timed (Directional)/Classic Simulation Sliders

I bought a PS4 very recently and have just started a Mets and Yankees franchise. I have been playing the 2013 version on a PS3 until now and I can't believe how much better the game is now. I started playing "out of the box", but after a few games switched to the A&S sliders and am REALLY enjoying them. Won the 1st game with the Mets against the Nationals 6-4 (both teams had 2 homers), then lost the 2nd game 3-2 (1 homer per team). I really like the OF speed and fielder reaction sliders where you have them. A couple of questions:

          - I play with auto throwing - should I keep throwing sliders at default?
          - I haven't walked a batter in 5 games - should I lower control and consistency to 3 (down from 4)?

Thanks again for the sliders - they are working great for me.

When your at the plate click on your right stick and hold it down and move it left and right and you can view the fielders and how they are set up.

I am about to begin year 2 of my 1987 Yankees franchise.

Still in year 2 of my Yankees franchise I carried over from 14

And playing games at a very leisure like pace in a 1975 season as the Reds (Knights set).

With carry over saves I am set.

                    Stats look fantastic for me.

Hi A&S, just started a Yankee franchise with sliders exactly with what you have suggested. I simplify my game quite a bit - "x" to hit (auto baserunning) and "x" to pitch (auto defense and throwing, let catcher call the game, etc). This isn't really a slider question I guess, but I just finished sweeping the Jays, 1-0, 9-0 (4 homers) and 6-0 (2 homers), beating Price, Beurhle and Dickey. I'm 51 years old and don't consider myself a great player, so I think moving higher than AllStar level is not the answer. I know this is a very small sample and yes, teams struggle at times in real life as well, but holding a lineup of Revere, Travis, Tulo, Encarnation, Donaldson, Bautista, Colabello, Navarro (CPI plays him ahead of Martin), and Pillar to 0 runs for 27 innings raised a bit of a concern. I'm not blaming the sliders as I think they are perfect, just wanting to know your thoughts on my outcomes so far. Thanks and thanks again for your sliders.

I will say what I always say. Baseball is a marathon. I have played over 300 games on this years iteration.

Keep playing. It's a long season. Trust the settings.

This was a month ago but maybe you'll still see this. I have this happen a lot, I'm always considering the thought of moving up a difficulty level in pitching after a series like this and then my ace Chris Sale gives up 5 runs in 3 innings to a weak team including 2 home runs to a hitter like Eugenio Suarez. Then I think I'm okay until the next series and it happens again. Stick with it and see what your team ERA is looking like after a few more series.
