    Blzer's All-Star Sliders & Settings (Zone hitting)

UPDATED 4/2 - I'm doing these from my Vita, so I have no doubt there might be some more settings on the PS4 version that aren't even on here. I'll update them when I get that version.

FIND IN SLIDER VAULT TITLED "OS BLZER AUTHENTIC"

These sliders are incredibly subject to change and are based on my MLB 13 sliders. However, I was quite surprised how much I end up having to change things, though. I thought I'd get my slider set up now for a few reasons:

    1) I'll be too lazy to do it later, or I'll keep holding off.
    2) I want them to be open to criticism immediately, because I won't be able to test them much the next few days.
    3) I didn't ever end up getting them up last year, and I know there were many people who PM'ed me about them. I figure if I got these out earlier, it could be a good base for something.

I've been doing sliders for the community since MLB 09: The Show, and I have to give credit to those who helped me back then as we came up with a great slider set:

    - rudyjuly2
    - BleacherCreature
    - mgoblue678
    - hawkeyekid
    - Defel
    - The Chef
    - pberardi
    - The Autumn Wind

Without you guys, my sliders wouldn't be how they are. And thanks for everybody else that posted results with the given sliders at the time, "approving" them.

Let's hope we can do it again!

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------

You'll notice a few crazy things with these sliders that you might not have tried before, and eventually I'm going to post a video (and hopefully upload a file so you can just download the sliders) so you don't have to read them like this, and I'll explain the reasons behind everything at that time. I very much appreciate criticism, questions, results, and anything else under the sun.

I'll make a few notes here before continuing:

    - I'll seldom use the power swing on 2-0 and 3-0 pitches only, and will sometimes use the contact swing with two strikes.

    - Great set of house rules is the first time through the lineup try and take until you get a strike. It'll get their pitcher into "his groove," whether good or bad. His pitch count will at least get some work, and you might find your groove as well and draw the walks you want to start the game.

    - I use the left stick to aim my hitting (zone).

    - This year, with the ability to hide some of the HUD clutter, I've made an effort to go with Classic pitching for the first time ever, just because there is now nothing on my screen that you wouldn't see in a regular ballgame (until the ball is put in play, of course). Make with it what you will, but that's what my base will be off of.

    - Just so you know, the Wind slider does not make, say, 5 MPH a stronger 5 MPH when the slider is cranked up higher. It simply allows for stronger winds on any given day, actually allowing much more hit variety when you get different kinds of winds. I've had as strong as 40 MPH wind before (only once had it ever gone even close to that extreme) and as weak as 0 MPH, like my first game I played with my slider set. So I like it up at 10 for this reason. Makes a nice hit/scoring disparity for games, and allows you to play to a certain strategy based on said wind.

That's really all I can think of from that standpoint. So... here we go!

Definitely going to want help on the errors. The biggest things here IMO are with regard to fielders and baserunning. Still tweaking them in general.

These subject to change. As always, feedback is appreciated! On another note, if you guys enjoy the sliders enough, don't be a stranger... feel free to give this thread a rating of your choice if you'd like. If it's for a good cause (even if negative), I'm ready for the consequences. Thanks all for doing what you do!

Altered outfielder fielding errors, lowering to 1 (-4).

I'd appreciate some feedback on things particularly involving the outfield. Their running speed, throwing speed, error settings, etc. I see that no other slider set has these, and I believe my ambition speaks for itself in that mine being unique sometimes sounds wrong, but in this case I feel as if I couldn't be any more right/closer to what is actually needed.

Yes, I have a custom camera. See here:

I think I've centered the plate and camera only a little more slightly since.

What settings are you using to get to this camera? I remember back in the day you used to use Jay Bruce and did like an off-set or something.

                      I will, indeed.

The ones I have to look at this year look to be fastball/offspeed pitch speeds, outfield throw speed, and some other new ones.

Thanks. I'm playing 16 with your sliders from 15. I feel like nor much of change is needed but looking forward to with what you're gonna come up.
