Hey everyone. I'm back this year to do another slider set. I still haven't played enough games yet, but I'm always testing and I'll post the set as soon as I'm confident that it's ready. Post which hitting/pitching/fielding styles you use so I can test to see if there's any noticeable difference in any of them. Most of the time, it's based on the user. Hopefully I can get a set up ASAP.

Just played Cubs v Pirates.

Cubs 7 13 0
Pirates 4 10 0

Only HR in the game was by Castro. The game was actually 2-2 going into the 7th. The Pirates scored 2 in the bottom of the 7th and then I put up a 5 spot in the 8th.

This was played with default All Star, directional hitting, meter pitching, and button fielding. Overall, I was walked 6 times and only struck out once. The Pirates struck out 7 times and were walked 3 times.

I'll keep testing but the only things that stand out to me is the lack of user strikeouts when hitting and fielding/throwing errors. It's only one game that I've really paid 100% attention to so I'm not too worried about it. I've struck out a ton of times in RTTS on default AS.

Overall, I was very pleased with the results.

Online League Commissioner - We play on HoF hitting and pitching and require Zone + Analog or Zone + Button this year.

I got all the way up to HOF hitting in RTTS with Dynamic Difficulty and really struggled. I don't know if it's because my player was in his first year and low on attributes or what. I was hitting about .200 with him. In the past I've played on HOF, but this year I'm interested in AS. I'll look into HOF for sure though.

Alright, quick update. I've started to test dynamic difficulty. I didn't know you were able to adjust how quickly you level up or down with this years dynamic difficulty. Right now I'm on HOF for hitting and HOF+ for pitching. So far the results have been pretty good. I'm going to tweak some sliders to change the gameplay but I think I'm headed in the right direction.

I've made a couple adjustments on HOF so far. I came to the conclusion that HOF is the place for me to play after using dynamic difficulty. I highly suggest turning on dynamic difficulty to see where your skill is at. I was at HOF+ for hitting and HOF for pitching. Currently I'm going back and forth between meter and pulse pitching. Directional hitting is the way to go for me this year. Shouldn't be long and a set will be posted.

On thing I noticed about the harder difficulty is the timing.
I need to do a little more digging, but with Veteran I am just too good...I do not strike out enough, and get alot of hits.

On All-Star I feel like I strike out the right amount, but none of the balls I put in play go anywhere meaningful.
What I noticed is I was either late, or early one everything, not enough "good" contact.

So I raised timing from default to 6, and got much better results.
I now need to determine if I should lower contact to compensate, or lower solid hits...but just curious if you are seeing something like this?

If you had trouble getting base hits and raising timing helped it, roll with that for awhile and see what happens before compensating. That would be my 2 cents.

Pitching on all star has become way to easy for me this year.
