Thought I'd share my sliders...

Hey ppl, I use analog hitting and pitching but for most sliders this doesn't make any difference. I'm not a fan of big slider changes as this in my opinion always messes smth up and The Show plays already pretty well out of the box so only slight changes are done in my set. Allstar/Allstar is what I'm playing on most of the time. I might very well do a few minor changes as I get more playing time.

great set. we should work together to get some good sliders for our liking. if you have tests in mind, let me know. i put my in-game (human vs cpu) and cpu vs cpu (quick sim) in vault a few days ago.

True I forgot to mention that! Allstar/Allstar always, although right now I'm giving Dynamic Difficulty a try and will see where it'll take me.

they look pretty good. Im sure some things can be tweaked. I dont mind helping either. I usually play on all star pitching and veteran hitting because I never could get a good game out of all star hitting because it seemed too hard in the past games. Hitting the ball perfect would still seem that I was missing them. slow dinky grounders to infielders. Of course this could have been a issue with the past 12,13 games.

I find veteran hitting balances it out with all star pitching. veteran pitching, you just strike the cpu out too much.

Ive found in the past that fielder run speed has alot to do with it being a base hit compared to a out.

If you're having trouble with timing on all star, try veteran +. Check out my sliders with it as the hitting difficulty. The only change I made from default is foul frequency at 0. I've had games where I was only able to muster a few hits and got shootout. I've also had games where I've had 20 hits and 15 runs.

yes I do but I'm a very patient hitter most of the time, taking a lot of pitches and not afraid to strike out looking. so 8 for timing is pretty good imo. id rather decrease contact to compensate at this point.

of course those directly hitting (and pitching for that matter) related sliders are always influenced by personal skill. if have 0 issues with timing even on the highest difficulty there is no need to raise that slider. but in general my recommendation to anyone would be to decrease the contact and solid hits slider and to increase the pitch speed before you use the timing slider to make hitting harder.
