    CPU first pitch take

Anyone notice that the CPU takes a lot of first pitch strikes that would be good to hit?
Any slider that would bump their aggressiveness?

It really depends on What level you play at. I've noticed on higher difficulties they don't do it as much.

I'm on All-Star. I'll try bumping it up a bit.

topside is spot on... but if you feel you aren't ready to jump a full difficulty level, you can also try lowering Pitch Control 1 point.

That aggressiveness by the CPU also depends on its ability to read pitches. The more comfortable at the plate it is/the lower the quality of pitching the CPU perceives, the more aggressive it will be.

So reducing your own pitch quality will make the CPU a bit more aggressive.

Of course, there are other consequences to that... That should be your last resort for sure.

I'm also assuming you're on default sliders? If you've already, say, lowered CPU Contact/Timing, that could definitely be the cause of your problem, and you would want to raise it back up again.
