I like the changes Mike although I dont think HuM Timing needs a bump. I think people will get more hits as they play and learn timing more. I use the Brewers and ive had some good success against Arietta and Lester to the tune of 4-6 runs with 8-10hits.

Played my first game in my franchise last night
...O's beat my Braves 2 to 1 (I like to take the worst teams and build them up). Pretty good gameflow: Nice balance among ground balls, pop-ups, line drives etc. Game played really well/very sim. I've been a sim-sports-gamer since I was started playing Tony La Russa baseball when I was 10, so bravo so far.

Only issue was I felt it was a little easy to K the cpu, and I think cpu Offense could be SLIGHTLY more dangerous, but i'm only 1 game in to spring training in firs year of franchise.

      Quick Question
: Are you going to be adding the adjustments to the vault as you make them? If so, I'm hoping I can simply download them as you do and integrate them into my franchise as they come out...Sorry, I'm a total newb to the show.
I'll upload to the vault tonight. I forgot.

Try your next game with what's up on the first post.

That's very possible. I'll see about that one slider before my next game.

Let's try keeping the user hitting where it was.

I've uploaded version 2 of this set to the vault.

What I'm trying out now is v2 w user pitch consistency up 1 and AI contact, power, and solid hits each up 1 to 6.

What would happen if we played these on All-Star Hitting Difficulty? or is Hall of Fame required? I can pitch very well (Sub 3.00 ERA on HOF as a team through 300 plus games last year) but I can't seem to hit well on it (Sub 2.40 Team Batting Average) In addition to the fact that I am trying to learn ZONE this year.

MLB: Kansas City Royals (AL) Milwaukee Brewers (NL)

I'd give it a try. I haven't touched All-Star since very early last year. You might want to look at increasing your pitching difficulty too.

Directional as I don't feel zone represents much more than a pattern of the user. I'd prefer to see each player have a unique style in their hitting.

So in other words, if YOU have trouble making contact on pitches up in the zone, your entire team will have the same issue when using zone.

Directional, some guys will handle those pitches, while others may not.

It's not honestly, just played a game and won 3-2. I had 6 hits and the cpu had 4. I usually play all star but that was getting to easy for me. Just be patient at the plate and try to put a good swing on the ball. I like the sliders a lot. It pays a good game of baseball. Everything seemed fair, I did strike out 14 times but I was using quick counts so when I got those 1-2 2-2 counts I wasn't patient enough. Did hit a homerun with Simmons and Reddick hit a homerun off me.

I'm really starting to love this sliders. I played another one with the cubs at reds and lost 11-4. The cubs hit 5 homers off me with 5 doubles They had 15 hits and to be honest, they deserved it. I made a lot of mistakes over the plate and they crushed them. I had 6 hits with 2 homers myself with a double. I only struck out 7 times to their 9 with 5 walks for me and 3 for them.

Mike, there is two suggestions I have. Base running speed down one notch to 4 only because I've noticed in the show runners seem a little fast. I had a runner with a 60 rating score from first on a double. I understand if it is a big ballpark but just a suggestion. There were a few close plays at first on routine ground balls with guys that had speed 65 and lower.

Also the other thing is with the wind. I know that in past additions, this slider was basically broken. I remember a few games back I put it at 7 and when the wind was blowing out balls seem to carry farther especially when they were hit up in the jet stream. Then in a game when it was blowing in hard, balls were dying at the track. Try it out and tell me what you think.

One more question. Do u use auto or assist defense?

And I thing the base runners are way too fast.
I have seen a couple infield hits on routine grounders.

I've used both. Auto provides a prettier experience, but perhaps is not as fun. So far I've been using assist, and it's been fine.

Version 2 is in the vault, but 3.5 is the latest in this thread. I'm trying to limit the number of uploads until we're closer to being stable w our set.

Yes, putting baserunner speed to 4 was something I was close to doing last time, so let's do that. I'll keep an eye on the wind, but I also don't want to see any worse OF play than we might already see.

I am into June of my Franschise and noticed that no trades have been by any team. My trade slider is at the default level (5). Does that sound right? Taking into account that this is my first season.

You also have your second post worded like this:
