Once I tried your style of play last year my whole experience with this franchise changed. It's amazing what turning off all the on screen crap and moving the cameras to broadcast can do to provide a truly simulation experience. Feels like I'm at the park

I have one question. With auto fielding you will still see diving catch attempts and guys trying to rob home runs, right?

Looking forward to following your thread this year to keep up with all your updates

Yes absolutely you will see highlight reel, HR robbing, laying out, diving stabs....the entire kit and kabuddle.

    It's awesome.

Am I missing something? Is there another way to access this info?
Let me check on that when I play tonight. Your talking about the previous AB. But once that first pitch is thrown that info goes away from your previous AB.

Well these are developed with Classic Pitching and Timed Hitting. But....I feel they will work great with pure analog. Give them a spin.

With auto throwing, it just looks so damn good because it loads up automatically every time and the animations are smoother IMO. Plus you see overthrows etc based on ratings instead of user input as well.
I pre-load my throws. Looks like butter. And the fielding animations on auto are sensational.

I love fielding too....I do it online obviously. Fielding is a lot fun now. But for my offline chises, I prefer auto fielding.

Glad your enjoying the sliders man!!!

Right. I was talking about being able to see either all of the prior pitches in the current at-bat and/or the swing timing of the previous single pitch in an at-bat. Before, those were the two options you could cycle through using the d pad while holding R2.

Hope that makes sense, I realize my wording was a little confusing.

R3 -- click the right thumbstick.

the swing timing will only display if you keep that OSD on but if you click R3, you'll see the "colored ball" display, showing previous pitches.

                hope this helps.

I have tested these with Zone hitting and they work very well.

Have never tried "clean screen" pitching on classic timed before and have to say it adds so much more to in game pitching experience, feels like the pitchers truly do perform much closer to their real life ability level.

                    Well done on these guys!

I actually meant to post that I have played with yall's set last year with majority of it being on zone hitting. I have moved back to timed for now but, yes, they play very well with zone as well.

Armour, I have a question about pitch speed. I believe you started with it at 3 last year as well and you ended up on 6. Do you see this happening this year as well or do you find pitch speed that much faster this year? If I was to start with it at 5, would I increase the changeups slider to 7 to compensate as you have it at 5 now? Yes, I realize this is a user preference slider, just curious to hear your thoughts. Thanks.

Exactly right. If you start at 5 for fastball go to 7 for off speed. And yes to me pitch speed is quicker this year out of the box but if I get used to it and start taking too much I will simply click each slider up 1 at a time.

Thanks for the quick reply. I just bought the game today and haven't installed it yet as I wait for patches and your sliders (no pressure on you intended, lol) before I start my franchise. May I ask why is the off speed slider higher? Doesn't that make the off speed pitches kind of like faster pitches (ex 92 mph fastballs and 88 mph changeups).

Well i played the show 16 today for almost 8 hours today live streamed, and everyone that was in my channel & myself was in awe! i mean for me i haven't really had a chance to really enjoy the show. my truly last journey playing the show was 2011 & 14 some what, and even then i never have experienced alot of the game most of you all have.

Well let me tell you, these slider's really put you in touch with the game of baseball, and to be quite honest i know Armor's set's are known around here, heck i use them for the basketball and football, and as good as those are i have to say Armor & Marino have done an outstanding job with this set.

I can say today i was taken back not only actually (fun) in a video game for a very very long time, and i thank you guys for that, as far as the game it self the guys over @ san diego studio's you guys have really out did your self's, i've seen great one handed grabs to walk off homeruns to actual (CHARACTER EMOTION) In player face's as they attempted plays on the field.

I will say this, and i mean a very high caution when i say if you've never tried clean screen ball you are in for one heck of a session! lol i mean i loved the fact of offset zoom, a change up is not your ordinary change up!!! when the bottom falls out, it really falls out! try facing some of today's top pitcher's with these slider's you will find out very quickly they mean business!

I had a hard day at the plate today in my time i spent with the game, but i also had alot of fun in doing so, i also pointed everyone i possible could to OS to not only know about the community we have here. in my archive on twitch you can see the ups and downs of my first day with these sliders, there awesome and with practice like my man Armor said the reward will be so awesome. thx again fellas!

                              Play Ball!!!!

Twitch is the world's leading video platform and community for gamers.

you can get to most of the game play around 1:28

Been having a lot of fun with this set. I finally won a game earlier today lol. Love how the player ratings really have an impact on the game.
