    CPU power.

I'm really hoping to not have to tweak sliders this year, it's always a viscous cycle once it starts. However, after about 10-15 games I'm starting to think that the CPU has just a little too much pop in their bats on Hall of Fame difficulty (pitching). I have yet to play a game where I haven't given up a home run. And there's been a TON of hard hit balls. Given, most of these are balls that I hung over the middle of the plate, but still 10-15 games and I've given up at least one bomb in every one.

I really can't see myself pitching on All-Star because I would strike out 10+ every game while allowing just 1-2 runs at the most. Sure I'd have the occasional hiccup where they may get 5 or 6 but for the most part any time I pitch on All-Star you can guarantee I'm leading the league in team ERA by 1-2 points.

Are any of you guys that are pitching on Hall of Fame making slight tweaks to the CPU's offense? I really like the feel of Hall of Fame pitching because it's not quite as easy to hit your spots as it is on All-Star (I use analog pitching).

Have you tried playing on dynamic difficulty. You crank the sensitivity up until you get to all star + or HOF - .
Once you're at the desired level, turn the sensitivity to 0 and it'll stay there .

It seems like it to me in the games I've played.

Its possible Hall of Fame pitching is simply harder this year...
Might have to swallow pride and bump it down to All-Star and work way back.

Could also mean nothing....sometimes you have a rough few games.

I agree with you, @Gagnon, after my few games it definitely seems that almost every ball is hit hard on HoF pitching. Slider tweaks will definitely be needed.

I'm feeling the opposite early on. Only about 25 IP so far but I've only given up 2 ER and one HR. I threw CG's with Ervin Santana and Phil Huges vs DET/CWS.

I'm on HoF pitching default. They swing and miss pretty often too. I haven't even used a reliever yet or warmed anybody up...

These are play now games. I wonder if the difficulty doesn't work in there. It feels really off to me.

Having the same issues in multiple game modes. Hardly any variance.

I went in a regular season game and gave up 10 runs...felt like a different game.

                    My 3 play now games I threw 3 CG's.

I also saw the same pretty quickly. I wasn't actually giving up excessive hits, line drives, or home runs per-se... but everything traveled faster than it should. Every grounder was too fast... even pitchers were hitting it hard etc... It led to a disproportionate amount of singles.

I've already lowered Power by 1 point and raised SH by 2 points to compensate. It seems to be perfect there.
